 Author has written 6 stories for Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew, and CSI. Fanfiction interests: The Hardy Boys (Nancy free zone) and just starting on a big Batman/Young Justice kick (although its very hard to find fics I like since I'll only read ones with Dick Grayson as Robin). I used to read CSI: Vegas but as I lost interest in the show, I lost interest in the fandom. I like fiction that is dark, action packed and a little angsty but without being melodramatic (grown men crying into their hankies? Just...no). I also enjoy a good humour fic (but not Crack! tales as I'm afraid their humour eludes me somewhat). Pet hates in fan fiction include bad grammer, spelling and poorly thought-out plots or Mary-Sue inserts. I have four Hardy Boys fics that follow a linear timeline in my own Hardyverse which stays pretty close to canon (Bluespine/Digest, not Casefiles. Never forgave them for killing Iola). The boys start at ages 6 and 7 and the last story has them at 16 and 17. You can read one without having read the others though. In order, they are; Family Values Broken Threads Lost Sons Downplay to Murder The two CSI fics are standalones. Into Thin Air Hard Lessons (nominated for the 2009 CSI fanfic awards in the Case File category). My fics are finished before I start posting so there will be no hiatus or long waits between chapters. In fanfiction, nothing is more infuriating than an unfinished story (unless its Mary-Sue whom I just. Can't. Stand). I am currently working on a follow up to Downplay to Murder. I have not given up on the Hardy Boys since it was my first and longest fandom. It's just that writing has stalled somewhat since I'm really enjoying the Batman/YJ fandom at the moment and have tentatively started a fic for that. And since time is not something that I have a lot of at the moment, writing is proving slow. But I hope to get there eventually. |
