Hello Friends!

Welcome to my Author's Page! My name is Lorett and these are my current (actually super old) fics. I took a several years long sabbatical due to life work, kids, etc. I began writing FF maybe in 2002 or so. I found a fascination with FF and thought I could take a stab at it too and never looked back. I have a couple of big fics that remained unfinished because my muse went on vacation to a remote part of the world where I could not find it and only came back a little while ago.

So, now that it's back and that those little voices of my characters have begun whispering and niggling at me again, I have decided to pick up pen to paper / or keyboard to screen, as it were - and to try my hand at writing again! As an aside, I also have seen quite a lot of my old friends and darned great writers writing again as well and it does my heart good. I have some AHHHMAZING author recommendations on my page too. Go read them - and my fics too!

IMPORTANT THINGS YOU SHOULD NOTE ABOUT MY WRITING:

- I ONLY write in A/U - (Alternate Universe)

- I currently only write Harry Potter Fics.

- My OTP is DM/HG.

- I have an OC character named Laurel Winters from my very first (and still continuing) fic - The Three Keys. Laurel and her various sundry of family and friends associated with her and her world are my own creations. These original characters come with a lot of fun baggage to explore - naturally. And, I think they fit nicely into the world of HP if I do say so myself.

- I will and do write some of my own spells and use them in my various fics. I don't mind you using them if you come across them and think they'll fit into your writing. I DO however mind if you use them and don't give me credit and a link back to the original fic you found them in. That's called plagiarism and it's illegal. And although Melania Drumpf is cool with doing it, you should not be.

- My second OPT is HP/HG, though you won't see me writing much of that. At least not yet, Draco gets so jealous!

- My third fascination is HG/CW. I really like the notion of Hermione being with strong men. She needs a strong, smart man to keep her happy and enthralled.

- I write a lot of lemony goodness here and there. (For those of you noobez who don't know what a lemon is - it's a sex scene. It can be lip-puckering lemony or just lemonade lemony or any form in between. So, now you know!) So be forewarned, you need to be an adult to read my writings. Most chapters that have adult content are clearly labeled, so you can skip them if you like.

- When I began writing these fics eons ago, Blaise Zabini was as yet a physically unidentified classmate, other than being handsome. Therefore, I wrote him as a hot Italian with blue eyes and black hair. I don't have the time, patience or wherewithal to change him, so just pretend, yeah? After all, it is A/U.
