Author has written 3 stories for V, 1984.

Not much to say about me. I have worked in the software industry. I watched V when I lived in Fairbanks. Russia wasn't that far away and the whole cold war aspect of V was very influential. My favorite characters in the beginning were Julie and Mike. Later Brian, Willie and Martin; also I liked Polly. I read a book once where she was supposed to be 12. No, she looked and acted like a 14 year old. Also, the water thing was kind of stupid when even then you knew they could have gotten water in other ways.

Later I read a book on Hitler and thought about the Visitors. Also, the propaganda machine and what it did to the youth who became blind in their devotion. Later I met someone who's grandfather was one of those youths. Those things made me wonder about the Visitor Youth Corp and how much brainwashing they would have gone through. Then of course time goes by and you realize you know nothing of the lives of the Visitors and the fanfiction stories were of the Resistance. Got me to thinking how much baggage the Visitors may be carrying around with them. Also, that would likely be more than one group of Visitors or humans resisting. Also, easier to write about the Visitors at least for me.

So the story and an outline grew and grew and one day I thought I might go ahead and write a story. Not much of a writer, but I am giving it a try. Software is not exactly a learn to write stories kind of occupation.

Requiem for the Lizard by Time Lady Quazar reviews
Martin was dead, to begin with. Except he's not. Diana had much worse planned for him. Doctor Bethany Carter is a paleontologist sick of hiding and mad to go on an actual dig, an assessment shared by her colleagues. Thrown together by something much more horrifying than fate. Next stop. Los Angeles, heart of the war zone. Maybe not the best idea.
