Outside the city was different an armed reserve unit engaged the visitors in a 45min entire unit of 53 and 9 shocktroopers were killed there and 9 VYC were ambushed they attempted to leave the were lost.

Most of America likely bought the fake broadcast,the city of bucyrus Ohio didn't and the round up came for they were of law enforcement joined with the citizens,they knew they weren't likely to win out knowing the weapons they had weren't going to penetrate the armor that the shocktroopers wore so they didn't aim for the obvious,the battle lasted two the end of the second,94 percent had been rounded up or killed of 13 thousand residents. In return,3VYC and 3shocktroopers had been killed but 141 had been wounded.1transport had been destroyed and another critically damaged.

Most would disgard the event at the med center as a scientist conspiracy houx and go back to their lives but some would take heed and prepare.
