Hello there! I'm assuming that if you're looking at this, you've probably read something I've written so thank you!

Let's see, what do you need to know about me? Well, I've been on this site for years. I'm an avid fanfic reader, fairly consistent reviewer, and rare contributor. I love to write fanfiction but I tend to get hung up on the fact that my versions of the characters never sound quite right. I like everyone to be in-character. For that reason, I haven't posted very much on here. What I write mostly stays on my computer or in my journal.

I also have this tendency to focus my attention on one thing at a time. When I joined the site, I was all about Gilmore Girls fanfic. Then it was Prison Break, and then Bones. Right now, I'm kind of obsessed with Twilight. And New Moon and Eclipse. Stephenie Meyer is a genius. I have read some amazing Twilight fanfic recently and that is what inspired me to write (and post) my first Twilight story. So thank you to all the great writers on this site!

What else? Hmm...I love movies. Chick flicks, big action blockbusters, comedies, weird little indie films, dramas, suspense thrillers, period films - I love them all. The only kinds of movies I don't really enjoy are horror movies. John Hughes and Tim Burton are my all time favourite directors. My favourite actor is John Cusack.

I also love music. Listening to it, not playing it. My sisters are both incredibly talented musicians (they both sing and one of them plays the piano, the other is learning the guitar). I on the other hand, have no musical ability. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the talent of others. I listen to indie rock mostly, but I also love jazz and 80s rock.

I'm 22 years old, a student at the University of Ottawa. I cannot wait to finally finish my degree (and then maybe my masters). I'm hoping to be an editor. My dream is to move to New York or London and work for a publishing house there, but after graduation I'll probably end up in Toronto for a while.
