![]() Author has written 18 stories for Inuyasha, and Dragon Age. (5-20-16): Well, I was an agented writer, but now I'm solo. Pride (Didn't) Go is ongoing. I have over 40 chapters already written, so fear not lovely readers. The updates will continue steadily! Every Tuesday and Friday. If you have any writing prompts for me or ideas, feel free to share them! (2-8-2016): SURPRISE! I am in fact, still alive. I'll give you all a moment to pick up your jawbones from where they've fallen onto the floor. That's the good news. The bad news? I haven't returned with an Inuyasha fic. Instead I've found myself sucked into the Dragon Age: Inquisition world, particularly the romantic debacle and tragedy of Solas/Lavellan. I had to come back to soothe my aching heart after the Dread Wolf destroyed it. A little background on who I am (since I nuked all the stuff I had here before). I've been at FFnet for...what, a decade now? But in the last few years I quit to focus on trying to publish original work. That process is still undergoing, but I am now an agented writer (have been for a couple of years now) and I have a book sale pending. Aside from original works, I am also a wife and I work full time. Thankfully no offspring to suck my time away, though. That being said, I live to write. I love to share stories. As such, when I start a story I do tend to finish it and update regularly assuming I don't have major writer's block. This is a side-effect of my self-discipline and dedication to spending countless hours hunched over a keyboard. Feel free to ask me about tips for how to get an agent. I'm always happy to help and encourage other writers. From time to time I have received PMs and reviews pleading me to come back or encouraging me to continue writing. There were times before my agent when those reviews were the only proof I had that I could write things strangers would enjoy. They were lifelines that kept me going when agents and publishers rejected me with cold forms. I've come a long, long way, and I do believe that I have everyone who's read and reviewed here to thank for it. So... THANK YOU FOR R&R. You have no idea how great it still is when I get the random review for an old IY story. It puts a smile on my face and someday I would like to come back and revisit these long-winded family sagas I've created. But, for now, my muse has been taken by the Dread Wolf of Dragon Age: Inquisition. To my old fans, I completely understand if you're not interested in that as a result. I'd still like to thank all of you for all of the kind words over the years. (Looking at you, Sotam, as you've refused to give up on me for YEARS and I would totally send you a cookie if I could) Anyway...cheers! |
