So, I discovered fanfic and the Inuyasha fandom about a decade ago. Every time I come back to it, this is the first fanfic I reread. I've read the story multiple times over the years, but every time it feels like the first time. It's just so good, even after all these years. It's like a comfort fic of that's a thing.

Ooo that last comment though... “There was no one living that he would choose over the girl in his arms” Does that mean he values Kikyo more? Love her more? Although he’s not willingly give Kagome up it makes it sound like if Kikyo was alive he’d leave Kagome

This was beta-ed but there are still a lot of incorrect spellings. Like "since" and "sense" don't even sound the same. English isn't my native language so it always makes me curious how native English speakers often interchange some words (assuming English is your mother tongue).

Authors note at the end says this doc will stay pg-13 but it’s rated in the mature section. Feel mislead and an now leaving. Too bad because I really loved this story. But if I wanted a pg-13 story I wouldn’t be in the mature section.

Just wanted to say that this story is one of the best Inuayasha fanfics on this site. Hands down. The end had me completely bawling to the point where my mom busted in asking me if I was ok. This is a fantastic piece of work that shows Kagome and Inuyasha's true love for one another. I bow to you, bravo!
