Everything is Illuminated, by Jonathan Safran Foer. Btw, the movie inspired by this book is definitely a must see and is the inspiration for my Hardy Boys story entitled "Dandelion Clocks". And on a side note, I am seriously considering renaming my she-horse Sammy Davis Jr. Jr. just because she's rather...deranged , a bit like the she-dog of the same name who's portrayed in the book. As it is, I'm calling her that when she gets ornery enough for me to call her by her full name (my fictional nickname), like the time last summer when she spooked and nearly beheaded me! Idiot horse. And the name of my horse is yet another big fat lie on my part.
