I suck at this. Always have, always will. So I will attempt to write it as though it's a "About the Author" profile in the back of novels.

Iggy Lovechild is a long-time fan and original fiction writer. As she's been a bit blocked for original stuff, she's been writing within fandom for the past several years. Most notably, she is a prolific yaoi/slash author. Her most favourite fandoms are FF7, Torchwood, Velvet Goldmine, and Hellsing. She can be found blogging away on Tumblr as iggy-lovechild and Dreamwidth as brutal_priestess. Ms. Lovechild also has a profile on AO3 and AFF because she is an unapologetic pervert with a penchant for writing smutty bits.

Some project notes (3-10-12)

Bullet is on hold. I've been so bloody busy with work and real life. Ugh. Also, I've been rediscovering Star Ocean 3 and AlbelxFayt. I wrote the pairing yeeeeaaars ago, but not always very responsibly. Kinda atoning for my sins with a currently unpublished project.

Bullet has been put indefinitely on hold. In other words I have no idea when or if I'll ever finish it.

New Stuff Ahead?

Yeah, I just acquired FF7: AC Complete and damned if I haven't fallen in love with Shinra and the Turks all over. I've been messing with word prompts on my lonely, lonely Dreamwidth journal and have been coming up with some interesting stuff, which I will be compiling here soon.

So...broken record that I am, I've rediscovered some ghostly muses of my past. Lol.

I'm currently working on a trilogy for the film "Velvet Goldmine", or it may be a four story arc. I guess it'll all depend on how the third story pans out.

I am going on a hiatus from writing Alutegra in order to more deeply explore the relationship between Walter and Alucard. While I don't expect everyone to follow my sudden 180, I'd hope some would be willing to try given...you know, it's still my writing. It will be set predominantly pre-series, but post-The Dawn.
