I have lost touch with this community and am no longer interested in work on my fics. I have taken down most of my fics, though I am leaving Blood Runes for now. I will probably delete it when I get around to it. In the mean time, if people are still around and reading it, go ahead an download it, or put it on your profile if you want. I don't really care. I just remember that that fic is one people do still come back to every once and a while, and I have gotten frustrated at others doing the same thing.

But yeah, honestly I just don't feel it. Let's be honest I was and probably still am a shit writer. The only reason Blood Runes appealed to people IMO is because I did my very best effort to avoid what other people did, the common tropes and pitfalls everybody could see.IIt might be slightly narcissistic, but Blood Runes was always the concept I wanted to see. A story about a person who has been in the darkness so long, he cannot see the light. I would have loved reading a story about that. I would have loved a story with the little tropes I threw in which were close to unique, little ideas which weren't recycled from other fics. I simply got caught up in trying to distinguish myself, that it became more about exploring my ideas of what magic should be, how it should work, while still barely within Rowling's guidelines. It was a good experience I suppose, but I dislike what it has become, so I am killing it now. Officially. No rewrite, no chance for continuity. If someone else wants to take it and run with it, by all means go ahead, but I feel it is a disservice leaving it in limbo. I stuck it in this community, where it took up space, and distracted from good stories. It's only fair I take it out.
