Fate's Four

Growing up I was the kid whose Harry Potter books had highlight marks over my favorite lines, notes in the margins, and ideas written on blank pages of things I liked or did not like about the story. The magical world of Harry Potter kept me up at nights dreaming of fantasy worlds where I imagined myself with a sorting hat on my head and a wand in my hand. The world of magic is truly an inspiring one. That world, the world I spent countless hours lost in dreams in is the world I am looking to show here in my writing.

With that in mind this story will be looking to take the parts of the series I enjoyed and liked, while changing it to a personal version, and a version that I feel has the potential to be even more magical. In my world we will follow the life’s story of the familiar characters Harry and Hermione along with some new characters. There will be much more adventure, much more romance, much more lore, much more fantasy, and much more magic.

My original mission with this series has been to write at least seven books, just like the actual HP series, although it could very well end up going on longer. Although I plan on taking ideas, plots, and a lot from the actual canon stories themselves my story will eventually branch off into the version I want to tell. There are countless characters I loved in the books and even more parts of the story that I found inspiring. However there are also parts that I would have loved to see done differently, or characters that I feel could have or should have been done differently. As a result you will see different characters in this story along with different plots to help assist me in telling my version of the story.

I will be most likely as I receive more feedback be posting links or suggested google searches to you to provide you with some more visuals of a person I may be describing, a creature encountered, or an object seen. So keep an eye out here if you want to know more about certain things! As well if you have anything specific you want to know about such as "who does such and such look like" or "what does the drawing you described here look like" please message me or comment on the story and I will make sure to add a link or provide an answer.

Also something else that is important. I am a history major, not an English major. As a result I am sure you will find grammatical errors throughout the story. I apologize in advance. I edited each of these chapters more than four times each and have even re-written a few of them multiple times so they are about as good as I can possibly get them on my own. With that in mind if anyone would like to be a beta reader, or help me with edits feel free to message me and maybe we can work something out. Along with that I hate when stories have things that don't make since. There were a number of times when a characters eye color changed, or wand grew in length in the HP series. Due to this if something is pointed out in an earlier chapter that I messed up, or that I feel needs to be changed to better the story later on you may see a chapter reposted. If that happens I will let you know!

Also! I am a very visual person. I like to be able to physically see a lot of the things I am describing in these stories. I at best am a D- level artist but have attempted to draw certain things like the Deathly Hallows in my story. If anyone would be interested in doing art for the series or drawing specific things for the series please PM and let me know! It would mean the world to me!

Story Notes:

This section will be updated as I read messages, comments, and reviews with information that I feel needs to be added to better the story.

Note1: So this note will not come up until the third book is released but I wanted to post it while I remembered. In my universe there is no such thing as a time turner or time turner magic. So if the subject of time comes up at all throughout the series I will be going on the basis of there being no magic that currently allows the magic a time turner does.

Note2: If it was not made clear enough in the first book the subject of defense against the dark arts is just called dark arts in my series. I feel like students would not only need to know how to defend themselves against so called "dark magic", but that they would also need to know a lot of the spells themselves. While this does not make Hogwarts a school of dark magic, it does make Hogwarts a school that provides all sides of the story. If I am a democrat I still need to know what a republican is and does or vice versa, make sense?

Note3: It is safe to assume that almost anytime Marik is dueling that he would be wearing the cloak he created in his first year. I do not go into specifics all the time about his robes during scenes but you can assume he is most likely wearing them in most dueling scenarios.

Note5: You will note that in my story never once is a scar mentioned. You can take this to mean that Harry did not end up with a scar on his forehead the night he was

attacked.

Note6: While there will be and have been mentions of cannon "bad guys" used in my story the power, abilities, and rankings of said bad guys will be different in my story.

Character Info and Links: I do not own any of the images below. The following images are just to provide readers with a general idea of what I feel my characters in this series look like. Feel free to ignore them though and use your own imagination though. :) You will be able to tell that I like anime from the links as most of the characters draw inspirations from anime characters or art. If anyone would like to draw up the characters feel free too (I would love you forever!). If you would like information on any non-main characters leave a review or PM me.

Marik Ose: Marik's most notable features are his dark black hair, tan skin, and silvery eyes. I like to think of him as a cross between these three images.

Harry Potter: While I love the Harry Potter from the film I wanted my Harry to look a little bit more badass. Harry's most distinguishable features are his green eyes and black hair. In my series Harry does not wear glasses. I like to think of him as a mix between these two pictures.

Hermione Granger: Emma Watson is a goddess and I would be a fool to change anything about her. However I would like to think that my Hermione would be even better than the one in the books. This is the image of Emma Watson that I use as inspiration when writing Hermione's chapters.

Alina Black: Alina's most notable features are her very long black hair, bright blue eyes, tan skin, and long legs. I am providing two images for her below. The first one is the anime pic I look at which I think is a good anime, outside of the hair not being black. The second one I think encompasses everything but her tan skin.

Luna Lovegood: While my Luna is still a little bit of an oddball she is not quite as odd as the book's Luna.

Fleur Delacour: Fleur is part Veela. She is supposed to be hot. Idk about everyone else but I didn't think the one in the movie was that hot.
