How to tell the Navy, Army, Marine Corps and Airforce apart, using the 'building' model:

If you give the command "secure the building", here is what the different services would do:

The Navy would turn out the lights and lock the doors.
The Army would surround the building with defensive fortifications, tanks and concertina wire.
The Marine Corps would assault the building, using overlapping fields of fire from all appropriate points on the perimeter.
The Airforce would take out a three-year lease with an option to buy the building.

Update time again, seeing how I have had several more ideas come and some go.However, most of my stories will still revolve around Lucario and Zoroark, that still hasn't changed. These are my two favorite Pokémon, but I will include others as well. What kind of story would only have two Pokémon...oh wait.

Anyway I currently have ideas for multiple stories collecting in my head. One of which I am actively writing with two sequels and a prequel in mind and several other independent stories. Might whip up some one shots if I find the time.

General Information

Setting- combination of a fictional Pokémon region, Saldara, and the Strangereal universe from the Ace Combat series, primarily Osea and Belka. *Map of Strangereal* *Map of the Osean Continent*

Set in alternative post Zero (Belkan War) world.

The Legend of Razgriz:

Amidst the eternal waves of time

Military Stuff

It has come to my attention that not everyone is as military savvy as myself so I thought it would be a good idea to put up some details on the terminology in the story.

Court Martial- a military court. A court-martial is empowered to determine the guilt of members of the armed forces subject to military law, and, if the defendant is found guilty, to decide upon punishment.

Time- I am using military time at certain points which goes off of a 24 hour clock verses the normal 12 hour clock. If the time is past 1300, simply subtract 1200 and that will be the time in PM.

A weapons platoon will substitute for the squads:

It is led by a 2nd or 1st Lieutenant.

A weapons company will substitute for the rifle platoons an 81 mm mortar platoon, an anti-armor platoon, and a heavy machine gun platoon. A Headquarters and Service Company consist of a headquarters platoon, a communications platoon, a service platoon, and the Battalion Aid Station.

As you might be able to tell, I change it up a bit for my own purposes, mainly with weapons and who is in command.*

AH-1W Super Cobra- link image

a twin-engine attack helicopter that can be armed with a 20mm nose cannon, 70mm rockets, 127mm rockets, Air to Air missiles or Air to Ground missiles.

UH-60 Black Hawk- link image

a four-bladed, twin-engine utility helicopter that can carry 11 fully equipped soldiers and is armed with twin M134 miniguns, one on each side of the helicopter.

M1A2 Abrams- link image

a third generation Main Battle Tank designed for armored ground warfare. It is powered by a gas turbine that runs off jet fuel ( fun fact, it gets gallons to the mile not miles to the gallon)and is protected by composite armor. It is armed with 120mm smooth bore cannon and three machine guns.

M2A2 Bradley- link image

an infantry fighting vehicle armed with a 25mm Bushmaster chain gun and TOW anti tank missiles. It can carry six fully ready combat troops.

The M6 Linebacker is variant of the Bradly, it carries Stinger anti air missiles instead of TOW missiles.

M3 Bradley is a scout variant of the M2, it carries more TOW missiles and two scout troops.

a self propelled anti-aircraft gun based off the M48 Patton tank. It was armed with twin radar guided 40mm cannons. (This vehicle was never put into service but I decided to use it) This vehicle was a mistake to have included, will not be used in further chapters.

Long, but absolutely great! I will send you a gift basket (may get lost in shipping and never arrive) if you can read up to chapter 16 (where it currently is) faster than I can. Which was about 16 hours, not consecutively. Great story with adventure, mystery, and friendship.

Very nice trilogy, has plenty of action and drama that kept me busy for several days. Great plot with several twists that sometimes made me want to rage quit. (You will know what I mean if you read it.)

The Human Species by Shaded Skies

This is the story I look forward to getting updates in the most, great plot with suspense, action, and a few twists. Characters are great as well, overall this is probably my favorite story that I have read, no offense to the others on this list.

The Path of Aura: Intertwining Crossroads by GameManiac

First thing, if you are going to read this, you have to have an open mind and remember the FICTION part of Fanfiction. I didn't do this the first time I attempted to read this and did not get far. However, after giving it a second chance, this story quickly became one of my favorite stories. It will seem like two separate stories for the most part but overall, great story.

The Black Latios by Mekon

This story achieved what very few stories here have done with me, and that is get me addicted to reading it so that all my free time is spent reading one story, ALL, OF, IT. Needless to say, this caused me to get nothing done in the three days I spent reading it. Overall, its a great story with plenty of action, humor, and heart warming moments.

A Spirit's Journey by PkmnMaster Rolf

Another great story in my opinion. Absorbed quite a bit of my free time, but not quite all of it. So you can read this and have a life at the same time! Great plot line and character development plus good amounts of humor and action.
