I mean, the WORD 'favorite' MEANS 'regarded with particular preference' AKA you like it the MOST! Having multiple hundreds? That's redundant, ridiculous, and it takes the specialness out of it. (Is that even a word? Specialness? Spellcheck says it is...)

Favorite author: I don't favorite an author just because I like your stories. I'll favorite you if I like YOU, which makes it even more special, because my favorites are my Fanfic friends! Again, one does NOT simply have a whole ton of favorites! Every time I get a little message 'So-'n'-so has favorited you!' it fills my heart with RAINBOWS! But then when I go and look at so-'n'-so's page (I like to know who likes me), I see that I'm one of many and my name is nearly impossible to find because the list is so crazy long. That makes me feel a bit less special, y'know?
