Basic Information:

Done with university (a.k.a. post-secondary education) and working! I've been promoted from a graduate intern to regular staff now, and my life has never been busier ;~;

I'm Malay Chinese and fluent in Malay, English, Chinese, with some Tamil. My Mandarin is better than Cantonese (some of my friends can speak Hakka, Hokkien, and/or Hainanese). I watch anime in the Japanese original with subtitles, or wait for the dubbed versions to air. I find myself ironically reading manga more than watching anime now, compared to when I was younger. I read manga on my phone during work breaks, and save the anime to watch at home.

I love music a lot. My favorite types are Malay-pop, K-pop, and C-pop. Most people know about K-pop and C-pop, but Malay-pop isn't that well-known, and I'm really into that. Many lot of my classmates like the same music, too, so I can talk about this all day with them. I find these genres different from English music, especially Malay-pop. All I can say is that each type of music has something special to them.

I also really like magic. Not magic tricks like Abracadabra (reference to Brown Eyed Girls), but any kind of special powers I see in animes. Most of them are magical girl animes because the creators are so awesome at doing that. Majority of the magic happens in supernatural animes, too. It's amazing how a character can say a few words, and magical beams of light fly from everywhere. So much more that I can't explain at once.

Stories:

#1 Lonely Starry Skies (oneshot)
First story using ShunxAlice. Just a short story about how Alice is often left out of the activities that the other Brawlers take part in, like a camping trip. That's where "lonely" and "starry skies" come in.

#2 First Wisdom Tooth (oneshot)
Again with ShunxAlice. My inspiration was f(x)'s song for 2013 "First Wisdom Tooth" and just had to write this! The oneshot's kind of like the song but with a few differences. Somehow, I managed to combine some totally unrelated things into a oneshot.

#3 Bittersweet Summer Heat (oneshot)
Third oneshot, ShunxAlice for a second time. I remembered a recent trip to Singapore and spending time with my cousins who came back from overseas also for vacation. After the feed back on First Wisdom Tooth, I couldn't help but write another T-rated oneshot. Inspired by f(x)'s 2011 repackage song "Hot Summer."

#4 One Day at a Time (oneshot)
Fourth oneshot and first using DanxRuno. My main intention was to tell people about how much stress working on the holidays is for employees, adding a little romance into it as well. Based on Weeks 25 and 35 of Weekly Challenge: BBC's Epic Trials in the forums.

#5 Miracles in December (oneshot)
Fifth oneshot back with ShunxAlice again. I was really inspired by EXO's 2013 Christmas song "Miracles in December" (Chinese version specifically). It was the first and only song I ever listened to that made me cry, and I couldn't help it. Then I though of Shun's deceased mother and unknown father and came up with this.

#6 Midsummer Day's Sweetness (oneshot)
Sixth oneshot, still ShunxAlice. Published sixth months after my previous December/winter oneshot, this is a June/summer oneshot. My main inspiration was San E & Raina's debut collaboration song, "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness." It's like Bittersweet Summer Heat but happens in the beginning of summer as opposed to the end.

#7 Good Night Kiss (oneshot)
Seventh oneshot, second DanxRuno. Since this is based on Week 147 of Weekly Challenge: BBC's Epic Trials in the forums, this means that all my DxR oneshots are based on weekly challenges! It's another summer kind of oneshot. Also, listen to Jeon Hyosung's "Good-night Kiss." It's really soothing and my inspiration for the ending.
