Update (4/14/13) - Yes, I am here. I haven't given up on my stories, but I've had increasingly less time to write. I'll attempt to give you guys the chapters as soon as possible, but that may be in the summer, seeing as school is only going to become more intense as we approach the end of the semester. Hey there. I'm Platty, and I'm here. Main reason I'm here - Pokemon, specifically AdvanceShipping.

I'm a pretty fanatic Advanceshipper, but I usually respect other pairings. However, I strongly dislike any that have Ash and May paired with others. Main dislikes are Contestshipping, Pokeshipping, Pearlshipping, and Abilityshipping (a character shows up in one episode...), and I usually only read stories with them if they provide a mechanism or competition with Advanceshipping. I may try to experiment writing a bit, but rest assured I'll remain an Advanceshipper. Other shippings I support are Orangeshipping, Egoshipping, Ikarishipping, and Cavaliershipping (basically, whichever one doesn't end up with Gary gets paired with their "second choice". I may attempt to write some in the future, but I'm a pretty stalwart SatoHaru supporter, so it probably won't be the best. If you're going to flame the pairing, don't bother; if you don't like it, don't read my stories.

Also, I might write some unorthodox stories. If I envision something interesting, I'll probably end up writing it. You'll know it when you see it. If that kind of thing offends you, don't read it. Haven't quite gotten around to finishing anything of the sort yet, although I may post something if I'm hit with inspiration.

Although I read many stories, I favorite few. If you want some recommendations for good advanceshipping fics, I've got a bit of a log that I can consult.

Feel free to PM me about anything, except for flaming. If you're going to do that, at least have the decency to do it publicly. Nothing much to say; This is mostly a reading account for now, but maybe I'll get into writing more.
