Author has written 15 stories for Pokémon, Chobits, and Dragon Ball Z. Bio: Well, what can I say? Call me Matthew. My favourite band is U2, and my preferred sports are Formula One and Ice Hockey. Once every two years I get obsessed with the Olympics too. I really enjoy reading and writing, and my head is almost always buzzing with ideas for stories that I would like to write/am currently writing. I'm the author of several fanfictions that have been posted up here, and I have some more ideas in my head for other one-shots and short series that I plan to write. I also have a short story on the go (which I haven't really worked on since September 2007). When reading a fanfic, I will almost always review it. If it is a new fic, I will review it from the beginning and review every new chapter that I read after that. If the fic already has several chapters, I will probably begin to review a couple of chapters in. When reviewing, I'll always include something positive that I saw in the writing. I will also, however, provide constructive criticism in each review. I believe that an author deserves to know where they may have made an error, or be told about something they could have improved on. If they are never told this, how can they expect to grow and mature their talent? This constructive criticism may, at times, seem to be harsh. There have been times where my reviews have had nothing but this in them. I will never "flame" an author for their work though, and all that I say is meant with the best intentions. If you can, please review my fanfictions as well. I do accept anonymous reviews, but of course I would prefer a signed one. I work really hard on my stories, trying to make them the absolute best that they can be; feedback helps immensely, and it is really valuable to me. Nothing pleases an author more than knowing the opinions of their readers. Even if you didn't particularly like something I wrote, let me know; constructive criticism is a valuable asset. Did I leave any loose ends? Did I make any spelling or grammatical mistakes? Did I go through the chapter too quickly? Too slowly? I have no objection to being reviewed more than once; in fact, on stories with multiple chapters I consider it to be a necessity. The more reviews that I get containing your thoughts on what I have written, the more that I can improve as a writer and entertain you even more with my tales. It's a win-win situation! And please don't be disappointed if your fanfictions (or yourself) are not on my favourite stories/authors lists; I rarely have time to write, let alone read fanfictions anymore, and it's a pretty exclusive list that I reserve for what I consider to be the best of the best. If it's any consolation, most of my own stories wouldn't be listed either! As far as Shipping is concerned, I support AdvanceShipping (Ash and May), AltoShipping (Ash and Latias), AbilityShipping (Ash and Anabel), SpecialShipping (Red and Yellow), and to a lesser extent PearlShipping (Ash and Dawn), SapphirePearlShipping (May and Dawn), PewterPearlShipping (Dawn and Forrest). I'm neutral on most others, but I despise both ContestShipping (May and Drew), and PokeShipping (Ash and Misty). Neither one of those will ever find their way into one of my fics (aside from a brief showing of the former in Final Challenge). If you have any questions for me on something that I've written, please just put them in the review and I'll do my best to answer them in the introduction of my next update, or just message me. If it's a review on a oneshot, you can either message me directly or leave the question in the review. In both cases, I'll try to contact you in return (and I'll try to do so with a minimal delay).
