![]() Author has written 14 stories for Legend of Zelda, Assassin's Creed, Elder Scroll series, Walking Dead, and American Horror Story. Username: MsBBSue About My Parodies: I feel it necessary to say this because I don't want people thinking otherwise and seeing as I am gaining quite the collection of parodies, I think I should say this. The parodies I write--whether they are for Zelda or Assassin's Creed or Skyrim--they are not intended to be malicious. If I were to write a parody about something I hated, you would see very cheap jokes (if you don't already think my jokes are cheap). It would leave a bad taste in your mouth. I write parodies for things I love because often times my head just goes on a whirlwind of what ifs. I've done this since I was young and I'm slowly learning how to put those thoughts into words. With all this said, I hope you, the reader, understand and take into consideration that I mean no harm to the series. I love them. That's why I write for them. Now... if anyone finds these parodies of mine to be something they wish to film (unprofessionally, of course), by all means, ask me. I doubt I would say no, but I would like to be able to check out the work. One day I'd like to film these, but I fear I will never have the time nor money to do such a thing which is also part of the reason I doubt I would ever say no to someone wishing to film. LOZ How it Should Have Gone Down was my first parody I ever wrote. I love it. It's my baby. Assassin's Creed Parody was my second and it came to me due to my brother and I coming up with odd scenarios. The Return to Jorrvaskr is my third, and final parody to date. It is the first time I have ever written for the Elder Scrolls fandom and I know it is not my best work. It's rather shitty, but it's practice and practice makes perfect, right? The way I see it, though, is that if I can make one person smile, then the amount of time I spent writing it and searching scripts and replaying the game and watching playthroughs were all worth it. This is also why feedback is so appreciated. To write humor sometimes does not translate well, kind of like sarcasm. If a reader tells me something isn't coming off as funny, then I know it isn't working and I can try to figure out a way to make it. Thank you to everyone who has given me feedback. Parodies make me nervous. Writing humor makes my stomach knot, and it's you guys that makes it so much easier. Thanks. *Update* This is where my progress report is Forgotten Queen (REWRITE OF BREAKING CHAINS) It is set in (I guess) an alternate universe, and has characters derived from most Zelda games, with such appearances by; Ghirahim, Zelda, Ganondorf, Colin, Link, Impa, and a few others. Anyway, if you are interested, go right ahead and check that shit out. There's slavery and stuff. The Bond It is set for the Walking Dead--first time writting for the fandom, if I may add. Obviously, it takes place in an alternate universe because death is far too great a thing to keep this 'cannon'. If you're interested in it, check it out--and yes, I know this is a very vague description of the story. It is now complete. All you really have to know is it's about a person looking for a person. So cliche. Abide A story about a troubled girl trying to find her brothers in the post apocalyptic world. Chapter Thirty Three has been posted. Yes, yet another Walking Dead fanficttion. |
