A few facts for those of you who are curious.

I'm a twenty-something reader and writer of fanfiction and believer in the escapism of literature.

Most of my early published writing is Harry Potter related. My favorite pairing is by far Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks, and a lot of my stories are centered around them. I also love Ron/Hermione and James/Lily as well as almost anything Marauder. The non-canon pairing I dabble most in is Neville/Luna.

Also being a HUGE Star Wars fan, I enjoy reading a good Star Wars fic and may try writing a few of my own. In that universe, Wedge Antilles is my hero, and love him and Iella Wessiri. (RIP the Expanded Universe) I also love Leia/Han, Jaina/Jag, Tycho/Winter, Luke/Mara, Obi-wan Kenobi, and of course, the exploits and antics of Rogue Squadron. I like the Wraiths, too.

While my name might be Wishing-for-a-Wand, I'd be satisfied with a lightsaber and good blaster, a nice Elven sword, or maybe a sturdy bow and arrow.

Lord of the Rings is another true literature love of mine. My favorite couple would probably be Faramir, Steward of Gondor, and Eowyn, White Lady of Rohan. I also love stories about Aragorn/Arwen, Gandalf, and the Hobbits, my favorite being Merry.

The Hunger Games has also piqued my fanfiction interest. I love Peeta and Katniss as a couple, but am more interested in the untold stories. I like the pairing of Beetee and Wiress, and enjoy the complex relationship of Haymitch and Effie. Finnick and Annie are just tragically adorable.

I simply adore Disney and all of its magic, and I could be easily persuaded to write stories for my favorite movies. Classic Disney, Modern Disney, I pretty much love it all.

I've tried my hand at some NCIS fan fiction, because I used to adore and obsess over that T.V. show. I ship McAbby and Tiva, and am still sad from Jibbs. I could not even begin to pick a favorite character.

I've also written a couple of stories in Patricia C. Wrede's Enchanted Forest universe. Morwen is kind of my hero. And she and Telemain are precious.

My writing and interests are all over the place, and lately I've played with the characters of some classic old tv shows. M*A*S*H is a wonderful favorite, and you can probably anticipate a few more stories in that genre. The whole main cast is my favorite, especially in the later seasons. Hawkeye Pierce has a piece of my heart.

Of late I've also rediscovered some old stories for Gilligan's Island, some of which I'll be polishing and publishing. Like Dawn Wells and the dearly departed Russell Johnson, I'm a strong believer in The Professor and Mary Ann ship.

I've got a few stories for the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood posted as well. We do not deserve Riza Hawkeye and Roy Mustang. I'm a huge fan of pretty much all of the canon ships in that show.

I'm currently in love with Call the Midwife, most especially anything that features Shelagh and Patrick Turner. Also Sister Julienne and the Turner kids.

Fully aware that I'm showing up the the party years late, but I've recently gotten into BBC's Sherlock as well. Sherlolly and Warstan all the way, and I've got a few stories in the works for this fandom.

I'd like to formally apologize for any of the stories that I've left unfinished. There's still hope for a few of them someday, but for now, my writing time and inspiration seem focused on other things. Still sorry.
