![]() Author has written 13 stories for Pokémon, Bartimaeus Trilogy, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, and Cormoran Strike Series. UPDATE 7.03.2020: The Lost Artefact is out! It's so nice to finally have that little fucker out of my head and into the real world! Updates will (ideally) be weekly, but don't get too shocked if my life decides to screw me over. Besides, my beta also has a life. It's a whole thing. Hi there, you! Yes, you! Have you smiled today? 'Cause you are beautiful. Welcome to my humble lil' page on this corner of awesomeland, where us nerds, geeks and frustrated-with-the-original fans roam. Hopefully you'll find something you like and write me a few words back. I find I work best when I set impossible goals for myself and nearly lose my shit trying to accommodate them (see inspirational quote bellow), hence the short list of stories. At the moment I have a Bartimaeus multi-chapter story in the works, result of a plot-bunny stalker who hasn't left me alone for years (yes, I am a masochist), and a few one-shots or two-shots that interrupt the aforementioned multi-chappie. I blame these sudden bursts of inspiration for hindering it. I also like beta-ing, so do check my beta profile whenever I have it up. (I do unfortunately have a life. So sad.) And now, if you're ready to accommodate my silliness, here's some fun facts about yours truly: Name: Forgot it probably during a spaceship crash or anything equally plausible. My user name or any nickname related to it will do. Age: I would say something corny like "ageless", but I just came back from the dentist, so none of that. Let's just say I have a driver's licence, which I enjoy putting to good use, especially at night with no one to co-pilot and mess with the music. Species: I do wonder if I'm adopted sometimes. Pretty sure I was originally from Jupiter and my parents forgot about me when they went back to the repaired spaceship. Occupation: Undergoing the pains of a Master's degree in "oh, but what is your real job?", "oh, but what can you do with that professionally?", "oh, so you'll be a teacher" and "oh, but you're willing to work for [peanuts, right?" I'm not an elephant, Karen. Shoo. Favorite color: Rainbow. Tell me I can't. I dare you. Favorite character: Bartimaeus, from Jonathan Stroud's Bartimaeus Trilogy. Not that he needs me to boost his ego further. Favorite food: Stardust. But it gives me indigestion sometimes, so I also enjoy pizza and ice cream. And anything with chestnuts or pineapple. (Yes, pineapple on pizza is delicious. Fight me.) Sometimes I eat healthy stuff (okay, I do eat healthy like, 70% of the time. But a girl's gotta live.) I have a newfound love for Thai, and I blame anjumstar for it. My finances are getting wrecked over here. Hobbies: Depends on which side of the bed I wake up, really. Besides reading and writing (shocker, I know), I also enjoy listening to music and making arrangements, pretending to understand German as I squint really hard at a word with way too many syllables, yoga, swimming, cuddling with the best cat in the world and--oh, friends. Yes, I have those. I like them and spending time with them. If for some crazy reason this still doesn't answer everything about lil' ol' me, feel free to send me a PM and ask me why I'm still in denial about Pokémon and Bartimaeus trilogy. And now an inspirational quote, so that I sound deep and mysterious: To achieve great things, two things are needed: a plan, and not quite enough time. (Leonard Bernstein) |
