8/28/18: If anyone's here wondering where in the world all my stories are, I'm slowly but surely moving my works over to AO3, under the same name. A few works I've decided to delete forever. I've become increasingly discontent with ff . net over the years and just want to be done with it. The works on AO3 have been revised, sometimes extensively, and overall it's a much higher quality body of work.

I apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but I think it's for the best.

10/3/17: To any of my regulars who might be reading this wondering where in the world I've been, all I can say is I'm sorry. This summer I went out of the country for a month, and since then it's been really hard getting my groove back.

To tell the truth I'm not sure if/when I'll be able to really get back into writing fanfiction like I used to. Anyone who works in the American health field knows about the nursing shortage, and to be frank my hours are crazy. I absolutely love my job, but I'm regularly working six or more days a week, often staying late to finish paperwork and other boring stuff you don't want to hear about.

Again, I'm sorry for all my unfinished works. I really do want to finish what I've got started, but I also want to be realistic. I think (?) I had planned endings to all of my WIPs, so if anyone wants to know what I had in mind for anything that's not completed just PM me and I'll give a bullet point summary. I'm not bowing out just yet. I've got too many ideas rolling around for that. I just don't know how much I'll be posting here anymore.

I've also caved in and started a tumblr under the name creative-type. It's mainly One Piece analysis right now, but I might branch out to other media as inspiration strikes. If you want to read me being pretentious about comic series geared towards young boys, go give it a look.

That's all I've got for now. For my regulars, a thousand apologies. The email updates I get for faves/follows/reviews still make my day and I appreciate the support each and every one of you have given me over the years. For my newer readers, sorry to be such a bummer. You guys are awesome too.

Hello, I welcome all potential new readers to my fanfiction account.

I'm fairly sure I made this in a fit of temporary madness, as my current job has nothing to do with writing or fanfiction, and my only literary expertise is what was forced upon me in high school. As such, my spelling and/or grammer may be subpar. If nothing else it'll be an adventure.

As of the time of this writing there are nearly 34K One Piece fics on this site, with approximately 24K written in English. Filtering out the romance, OC, and those labeled incomplete, that number drops to an astonishing 6.7K. Only 345 of those stories feature Nico Robin, which is a travesty in and of itself. While I'll dabble in other fandoms, I love playing in the One Piece universe and hope to someday see the number of quality gen fics rise. The vast majority of my work unapologetically features no shipping whatsoever, so those looking for romance should probably head elsewhere.

Fanfiction is a hobby and I write chiefly for my own enjoyment, so while I'll gladly accept any negative criticism in a hope to improve (and please, feel free to tell me about any stupid typos I've made, because I'm sure there will be plenty), flames and/or bashing will be ignored. Please, make an effort to be civil. In return, I will do my best to make my stories not suck.
