Uneasy Lies the Head that Wears the Crown:

PREQUEL (Before Avengers movie). The list of things Fury hates is long, near the top is not knowing which of his agents is selling SHEILD secrets. Near the top of his list of suspects is the newly recruited Clint Barton. When a mission takes a turn for the worst will he finally be able to expose the mole and take them out with extreme prejudice or is SHIELD’s archer just another pawn in the game of lies and spies?

Foregone Conclusion (now):

Follows Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. The Black Widow has made a name for herself. Feared by friend and foe alike, the perfect spy has a reputation for the impossible. Things are finally starting to fall into place for Clint. He's got a handler he can trust and official certification within sight. A certain red head threatens to derail everything he's worked for when a mission goes sideways and his only hope is to work with an enemy that might be more than he originally thought. Phil might have to save him from himself and the Black Widow.

Pepper had the best intentions when she asked Clint for a favour, but when things take a turn for the worst the situation could cost them both their lives.

Upon his return to Stark Tower, Barton begins to demonstrate some peculiar behaviour that could have disastrous consequences for himself and the team causing Steve to make a tough call. Will the team figure out what’s wrong with their archer before the damage is irreparable?

Two Worngs Don't Make a Right (series part 3/5):

Barton is kidnapped leaving the rest of the Avengers to launch a rescue effort but things are not as they seem. The team will have to defend their archer but doing so could put them on the outs with SHIELD and the council. The team might have been able to look past what happened in New York but not everyone can.

Between a Rock and a Hard Place (series part 4/5):

After a mission goes sideways Bruce and Clint find themselves trapped. Barton's life depends on Banner's ability to keep the Other Guy at bay. Will the team be able to rescue them in time while there’s still a Hawkeye to rescue?

The Devil Looks After His Own (series 5/5):

Clint believes something is wrong with him. On Asgard Loki has taken ill & tells Thor that his and Barton's problems may have the same solution. With Barton's worst fear coming true, can the team trust that this isn't some ploy by Loki?

Not There Yet, But Closer Than Yesterday:

It's hard to embrace the future when you're still hung up on the past. Steve isn't sure he wants to move on or hold on to the last thing he has. Clint is at least willing to drive the getaway vehicle.

With the week Barton is having, he'd ask if there was anything else that could go wrong but feared the universe would take that as a challenge. He may have been kicked off the Avengers but when the team gets into trouble Clint maybe the only one that can help.

As he tries desperately to make it to safety he can't help remember similar circumstances that put a young assassin on SHIELD's radar, more specifically the target of one Agent Phil Coulson. A look at how Barton found himself on the wrong side of SHIELD and how one agent took a chance.

Feeling the need for space and a desire to protect a certain archer, Natasha demanded a mission from Fury. When she failed to make her scheduled check ins, SHIELD had no choice but to send in another agent. Now Barton and Romanoff have fallen into the hands of the enemy and are engaged in a game in which only one will make it out alive.

"These could be our last moments together Barton."

"So what do you want to do Nat?"

"Whatever I want, with whoever I want." She leaned in planted a passionate kiss on Clint.

An Albatross around One’s Neck:

Being captured by the enemy was the start of their bad luck. Not only will Steve and Clint have to survive against the elements, but Steve will have to overcome personal demons as well, if they hope to live to fight another day. In the face of ice and snow, the burden of command might prove to be too much for the super soldier. Can Steve live with the decision he has to make and more importantly can anyone else?

Lambs to the Slaughter (based on a prompt from Twisted-67):

Steve needed to get away and clear his head; free himself from the responsibility and burden of trying to live up to his own legend. Naturally Tony decides to intrude upon Rogers' week of tranquility and turn it into a chance for a guy's weekend, but when they arrive at the cabin a very large wolf puts a damper on the weekend and could foretell the return of a former enemy.

Forlorn Hope:

An AU story that will work its way around to fit into this universe. Loki has claimed the Earth but a pesky group of resistance fighters led by would be heroes are a constant thorn in his side. With the age of man coming to a close can the heroes rise up and stop him or will the human race be crushed under Loki's army?

Iron Man 3 (movie) (leaving out the fact that Stark doesn't use the arc reactor anymore)

Birds of a Feather Flock Together:

Superheroes: a preposterous idea that sounds crazy in theory as well as practice. It would make sense that a group of mentally unstable individuals would create a fantasy world in which they were heroes that saved the world on a regular basis. If one was to pretend to be a superhero why would they go with archer but more importantly, Clint can't shake the feeling that it's all true despite the padded walls and what the doctor handing out the pills is telling him. Then again crazy might be the new black.

The Blind Leading the Blind:

Pepper’s made a lot of requests of Tony over the years. “Be at the airport on time.” “Don’t forget the board meeting.” “Stop leaving pieces of armour all over the kitchen table.” But he was never prepared for this one. Thankfully an unexpected ally knows a few tricks to navigate the unfamiliar waters and remind him that things can work out, far better than he expected. It just might benefit his relationship with Pepper too.

No Rest for the Wicked:

Stark Industries revolutionized the weapons business. The Stark legacy was to keep the world safe and Tony had thought the days of his weapons being used against him were over. That mistake ended up costing him a team member.

Newly coined Captain Spock, has just been given the reigns of the best ship in the fleet, Pike’s only request is that he gets the best crew possible to help him out. Dr Leonard McCoy is the best, the only problem is he comes with a lot of baggage; mostly in the form of a blond, irritable, troublemaking, shadow.
The crew doesn’t know what to make of the elusive man living in McCoy’s quarters and Spock’s concerned he’s bitten off more than he can handle but perhaps all the craziness just might be what everyone needs to up hold the Enterprise’s reputation.

McCoy was seeking a quiet life as a country doctor not becoming hostage and pawn in the quiet war between rival gangs. Not to mention he’s pretty sure the over cocky leader of one of the gangs is going to be the death of him. Major McCoy whump, some Kirk Whump. Based on 2009 movie

"You didn't hire me at all!" McCoy snarls. "In fact you drugged me and bashed me over the head! I'm not your guest, I'm your damn hostage!" He wonders why he has to educate his kidnapper on the proper protocol of holding a hostage. It's not the simple life of a country doctor he had planned and he's sure this outlaw gang is going to be the death of him.

Catching a Weasel Asleep: Now

McCoy pries his face off the ground, ignoring the dirt and sand that clings to his face. He glares at Kirk, fanaticising all the ways he could kill the kid and make it look like an accident. Even though his throat hurts from coughing up a lung he snarls, “I hate you.”
“Oh, where’s your sense of adventure, Bone?” he asks casually. He knows how close they came to dying, is aware of it every time he does something and drags someone else along for the ride, but if he stopped and dwelled on it he’d spend the rest of his life paralyzed by fear.
McCoy just glares harder. “I really hate you.” He lets his head flop back to the ground. He’s too thankful to be alive to let his suicidal friend ruin it for him.

The gang's cleaned up the last of Nero's mess but victory is far from theirs. Agent Harrison has made it his life's mission to bring Nero's murders to justice but it just might be the start to something even bigger than justice: vengeance.

McCoy always knew the Vulcan would be the death of him.
