Well...if anybody is somehow reading this...

As of March 23, 2009, I am now officially retired from fanfiction writing. I have tried, to the best of my ability, to regain at least some sort of passion or spark towards a hobby that I have prided myself in for so many years now - but alas, it just wasn't meant to be.

It's a long story spanning about two years that I certainly don't have the time to tell, but essentially, I just can't do it anymore. I simply cannot regain any sort of interest in fanfiction writing. This was not the way I wanted it to end. I wanted to at least finish one of my stories, but it has been coming to the point now where I just can't do it. Perhaps if I was to have worked harder at it or planned better, then maybe - just maybe - I could have had another chance, but it's been two years. Time has passed me by, and I cannot recover myself.

And so, this marks the end of my so-called fanfiction career. From February 12, 2003 to March 23, 2009. It's hard to believe I've been in this for six years. I had some truly incredible moments writing fanfiction. I have learned much about myself and I have become a better writer in general because of it. But, it's time to close the book, drop the curtains, turn off the lights, clean out the locker...that sort of stuff.

As for my stories and projects, consider them formally axed, as I will not be continuing with them from here on out. If anybody feels compelled to, you are welcome to pick them up and continue them, or use ideas or anything from them. If you are doing that, then please make a note in your stories that you are doing this and if possible, try to send me an e-mail or PM to at least notify me but if not, don't worry about it. I won't come back and hunt you down if you don't. Just promise me you will not use it for a bash-fic. You are free to use whatever I have for anything you want, except for that.

So...what now? What's next? Who knows. I don't know. I may be moving on into original writing, but only time will tell.

In the mean time...this is where I get off.
