MY OPINION ON FOLLOWING THE FANFICTION.NET RULES:

Dude.

Follow the rules.

I mean, seriously. How hard is it really to read the rules before posting? Is it really that hard that you choose not to, or what?

And to be perfectly honest, I don't give a damn if you think the rules are "unfair" and are "taking away your freedom of speech" or some other crap like that.

This is a free website. You use it for free. The only thing they ask in return is that you follow the rules.

Of course, I understand if you might look over a rule and therefore break it when your writing, but is it honestly that hard to fix it when it's pointed out to you? If you put an author's note as the last chapter, just move it into the previous one. If you have song lyrics, just delete them.
