She becomes oblivious to the feelings they have, for her pride is high as well as her prejudices. Pride and Prejudice/Phantom of the Opera * = currently working on Characters Erik: I view him more in Leroux’s style. Even though I was introduced with the 2004 film, it’s not the way I picture Erik. In my eyes, he is a man who is very tall (above six feet) and not exactly as boney as Leroux described, but a tad bit thin. Despite that, I enjoy to make him somewhat strong; a grip of steel, if you will. I am attempting to my stories with the full faced deformity but it will vary. When he is wearing a full faced mask, then he will be described as Leroux’s, with no nose, and his face very skull-like (For reference, please check Muirin007’s drawn Erik on DeviantArt!) Erik will always have yellow or golden eyes that glow in the darkness because, frankly, that’s pretty badass (lol). The only thing I will not take from Leroux is the hair–I image him with slick ebony hair. His hands will be described as long and boney like in the book because I believe it’s what would make him a great pianist! As for his voice…. There is no voice in this world that could compare to what I believe Erik’s to be. He has the voice of an angel; dark, deep, beautiful, yet frightening. Perhaps if I were to mix Ramin Karimloo, John Owen Jones, Josh Groban, and Hugh Panaro’s singing voices. x) I only ship him with Christine. I am a person of “whatever floats your boat” however, my stories will always be E/C. Christine: Now for the beautiful angel! I do picture her a bit like Mary Philbin because I do not see Christine as a woman consider “hot” or “sexy”. I see her as a woman who is beautiful, both inside and out. I prefer her with chestnut colored curls only because I got used to see Emmy Rossum’s hair in that form. Her voice to me will be like Rita Streich's, very beautiful and as smooth as butter. Her eyes will always be blue and almost the color of the sea; a very light color. To me, Christine will be very innocent as I always enjoyed that being one of her qualities and in this modern era, it’s not something very common (: I love picture Christine as a lady who is a hopeless romantic and who has a very gentle heart. I try to have her in a pale complexion because Philbin had quite creamy skin and it would suite her. Raoul: I used to be one to despise Raoul but I kind of grew a soft spot for the guy. I image him a tad bit tall with dirty blonde hair that will always be in the length just above his shoulder. I see him in the style that Patrick Wilson create only because it built him into a very good character. As he is always described as handsome, he will be quite the reason for Erik’s jealousy. In majority of my stories, he will be a cause for the love triangle in the plot. While I may write him as a evil character on some stories, I tend to try and make him a character that is not evil–simply trying to also best Erik in winning Christine’s heart. Meg: The petite blondie! Yes, I do picture her as a blonde lady with straight or wavy-ish hair. I usually tend to have her as a character with a fiery spirit and usually love to have her be the one to protect Christine when it comes to be necessary. She will have chocolate brown eyes and will also have a pale complexion. While she’s a ballerina in the Phantom, I will not always put in the association with the theatre only because sometimes it interferes with my stories. However, she will always be the daughter of the cold, firm, yet motherly Madame Giry. I mostly say that Meg is short for Marguerite because I read that it was somewhere and I cannot remember if it was in the book but... oh well. Feedback I love reviews, guys! I love hearing what you guys think of my stories, whether it's good or bad, I love it. It makes me absolutely happy to see what my readers are getting from my stories and when they tell me their opinions! So please, do not hesitate! {Erik'sLittleLotte56} |
