Thanks for dropping by! I still feel relatively new to fanfiction, having caught the bug through my obsession with the characters and lore from Dragon Age 2. More specifically, it was the erstwhile Knight-Captain Cullen that really got me writing, so he'll probably continue to be my primary muse for the time being. I'm still praying to the Bioware gods that he is featured in future game installments so I can chat with him some more instead of putting words in his mouth. :crosses fingers:

About me, I'm a big fantasy/genre fan in general and have been for many years, and although my rebel alliance decal has graced my car for years, I've only truly embraced my inner fangirl somewhat recently. I'm not a huge gamer, but I absolutely loved both DA: Origins and DA2 (and their spiritual predecessors like BG).

DABB: What Counts

I was delighted to participate in wave 2 of the 2012 Dragon Age Big Bang and just posted my story What Counts. It takes place during DA2's Act 3 and explores how loaded Cullen's statement to Meredith about arresting the Champion might have been.

The most exciting part of this process was collaborating with the talented vieralynn, who created art inspired by the story. I encourage you to check them out at devart: Art 1 (the bookcover used here) Art 2 Art 3. You can also see them incorporated into the story at AO3.

Knight's Bloom Series

Knight's Bloom - As of Jan 2012, I've just finished my first long story, Knight's Bloom. It follows fem!Hawke and Cullen, picking up just after the events of DA2's Act 3. With Hawke as Viscountess and Cullen promoted to Knight-Commander, a new friendship ensues as they attempt to navigate these new roles. The story's ultimate goal was to try to explain why Viscountess Hawke would eventually leave Kirkwall and why no one seems to know where she went. It was pretty much written before Dragon Age: Asunder came out, so somewhat follows its own AU storyline for what happened after the events of Act 3 (although, interestingly, it's not too far afield).

First Haircut - A short drabble, inspired by a prompt about Cullen's hair, regarding Marian and Cullen's son's first haircut.

Catch a Dragon by the Toe - A short story, set three years after Knight's Bloom. When Marian and Cullen's son, Malcolm, sneaks away to meet a mysterious friend, he never imagined the secrets his friend might be hiding or the danger he might pose.

Endless Possibility - A short drabble imagining Cullen at 60 at Malcolm's eventual wedding.

One-Shots

All Bets Are Off - A fluffy drabble about a bet that ultimately brings Marian Hawke and Cullen together.

Blonde - A humorous drabble wherein Varric tries to figure out the color of Cullen's hair, while embarrassing Marian Hawke and Cullen along the way.

Maker Be My Guide - A short story written for the Bioware Dragon Age: Asunder writing challenge, which follows templar recruit Tamsin on the start of a journey to find her own path. I hope to expand it, especially since the challenge word limit was... challenging.

A Love of His Own - A little exploration of a possible backstory for Cullen's romantic history. Just how innocent is he really? Also check out loverly fanart by Inveleth.

Trust - A short story written for a BSN Cullen Thread milestone focused on first kisses. It's a scene from a longer, WIP that's been germinating in my head (UPDATE: But is now being posted: Fool's Errand), so I went ahead and jotted it down. Our hero cuts Cullen's hair with unexpected results. AND! My lovely fanart commission by the talented Chenria: Finally you start to look human again.

Andraste's Grace - A story sort of from the same WIP as Trust. It's a side story I may not be able to include, but it's the same characters. Marian Hawke and Cullen are on the run and must seek shelter from a mysterious local connection of Cullen's that turns out to rather insightful about his character.

Comfort - Short drabble imagining Cullen coming to comfort Hawke after the events of All That Remains.

Lucky - A short story I once attempted to examine Aveline and Isabela's friendship, which I love. Ended up a bit bittersweet.

Swords and Shields - A humorous aside inspired by Varric's infamous "Swords and Shields" romance serial.

Don't Stand So Close To Me - Modern college AU (my first modern AU!) about professor Cullen and his illicit feelings for his student Solona Amell. It was inspired by the jawdropping awesomeness of one of 's modern Cullen pictures (http:///post/120399951717/support-me-on-), with her permission.

DA: Inquisition Stories (all speculation so far)

The Coming Storm - A series of vignettes examining how Cullen, Cassandra, Varric and Leliana might be drawn into the looming drama with the breaking of the Nevarran Accord. Where were they that night? And what happened next?

Unspoken - A fun collaboration with my friend LolaLei about a rather sad outcome for Cullen after DA2. What if -- gasp -- he's married? Meaning, to someone other than you. Unfortunately, emphasis on the sad.

Red - A short drabble examining one possible outcome for Cullen after DA2 and how changes in the Templar Order might have impacted him after the breaking of the Nevarran Code.

Chocolate and Sex Stories (DA: I)

Chocolate and Sex - A little drabble inspired by the unused sound files from DA:O when Cullen might have been a temporary companion. In particular, his laugh and his "bored" comment. If you haven't heard them, you can hear most of them in this youtube by Scr0ll. The bored comment is also available on vieralynn's tumblr.

Sex and Chocolate by Varric Tethras - A follow up drabble to Chocolate and Sex, imagining Varric writing his own story about Trev and Cullen. Heh heh. NSFW.

Fool's Errand - A new, long fic set in 9:40, after Asunder, that examines Cassandra and Leliana's "Plan B" from the end of DA2 and how Cullen seeks to redeem himself after Kirkwall. As a preview, this is the WIP which features the characters from Trust and Andraste's Grace.

General Update Feb 2015

I've finally come up for air from playing DA:I and so the muse is functioning once again. Fool's Errand will continue, along with a few other things, like adding Solas to my stable of LIs. We'll see if I can write him!
