Hi. It's Caitey. :)

So...yeah. I'm just a regular girl. I have long black hair, dark brown eyes, and light skin. I love dressing up--my style's really girly, a lot of dresses and accessories. I also love nail polish, and making intricate nail art, except I go to a private Catholic all-girls school, where we wear uniforms, so nail polish is strictly prohibited.

When I'm older, I want to be a writer (which is why I'm on the school newspaper) and a fashion designer, but my mom goes, whenever I tell her this, that I have to take up a serious major in college. She's supportive but practical, and she's probably right. Unless you're a hit, you can't really make it as a writer and/or a fashion designer.

But what I want to be most is a singer. I play piano, and I want to learn guitar, but my parents think it's not a 'real' in instrument, that 'proper' instruments are, well, pianos and violins. I love piano but I just have a sort of average skill on it, and I don't want to learn violin--it seems like it'll give me a stiff neck. I write my own songs sometimes, and they're really good, in my opinion. My voice, I'm not so sure, I think it's okay. Some say I have a great voice, but I'm not so sure, so hopefully it is! :)

I'm a straight-A student. So yes, I am pretty okay in terms of grades. When I was younger my parents would tell me all the time that I had to always get honors. They lowered their expectations at around second grade, but now I still want to maintain my A's. Which, when you think about it, is weird because my parents were the ones who said that I had to get high grades and now all they want for me is to 'do my best'.

I have an annoying little brother, two years younger than me. He is sarcastic-ish, and has a habit of dissing my favorite celebrities.

I'm a Swiftie--always have been! Well, for most of my life, anyway. I was only around seven when her first album came out, but I loved it, nevertheless. Taylor Swift is my inspiration, and she will always be my role model. She is extremely talented and hardworking, which is why someday, I want to be like that.

I love writing poetry. For me, my poetry's always been better than my stories.

I love books, too--and I can go on and on about them. The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, The Lynburn Legacy, Percy Jackson, The Heroes of Olympus, The Kane Chronicles, The 39 Clues, The Fault in Our Stars, The Iron Fey, The Princess Diaries, The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Selection, The Carrie Diaries, The Royal Diaries, Harry Potter, to name just a few. :)

(Okay, maybe that was a LOT. :D)

I am generally very friendly when you talk to me, but well, I get a little shy at times. I'm not one of those girls who have a lot of friends, definitely...just a small group. :) Some people make fun of me and call me a nerd, all because I'm a straight-A student, but I don't mind. My friends are few, but I know they're true. I keep my head held up high still. Sure, sometimes it's saddening. But I will forge on. :)

Aside from Taylor Swift, I am a big fan of Lily Collins. :D and I like a lot of singers aside from Swiftie. They include Cher Lloyd, Lana del Rey, Bridgit Mendler and Adele. :)

So yes, I think I've exhausted the details (at least the ones that matter) about me. I hope you like my fanfic and review and follow it! :D
