OC's don't really bother me, as long as they don't screw around with any canon pairings. Mary-sue's, no thank you. The main thing that really bothers me is messing with my OTPs. I don't condemn people for doing so, but I just don't support anything that separates my favorite couples.

Favorite genres: Humor, angst, adventure, and romance.

If any of you are looking for your fill of JakxKeira, Dark Jak and all his devilish glory, wonderfully depicted emotion, and humor that will have milk squirting out your nose and make you laugh until you can't breathe, you gotta check out kkann's stories (formerly darkecomuse). She's an amazing writer and her work is definately worth reading. :D

Another author you should pay a visit to: MikaHaeli8. She's an absolute literary genius, and my transatlantic sister. _ All of her Jak and Daxter stories are utterly spectacular, and cover just about every genre you can think of. She's even got her own original trilogy "Blood Ties", which chronicles the adventures of Jak's daughter. So go read her stories. Don't argue, just do it. Trust me, you'll be glad you did

One more author you simply have to go check out: LeiaOrganicSolo. Her stories are top-notch in the level of emotion she puts into them, and everything else for that matter. Her style is inspirational, and she's got Jak and Daxter stories down to a T. Go check out her work, too, because I can gartunee you'll love it.

Aaand one more must-visit author: marneus90. He's by far the king of sarcastic/witty humor, and his stories are all amazing reads. If you need something to brighten your day, or you're looking for a dose of Jak and Dax (or Uncharted, for that matter) action, look him up. You won't regret it. :)

Jak and Daxter

(oneshots - and there are plenty)

True Colors- A JakxKeira oneshot that takes place after Jak and Keira's little spat in Jak II. Jak's upset about the way their reunion went, and by what Keira said, and he wants to fix it. Genre: angst/romance.

Broken- A oneshot centering around Jak's time in prison. It's an inside-look at how Jak lost himself in prison while playing the role of the Baron's lab rat, and what it took for him to find himself again. Genre: angst/romance.

Why Jak's Afraid of Wumpbees- My version of the little "ninth birthday" incident Jak mentions at the end of Jak II. If you're looking for a bit of humor to brighten your day, then this is your story. _ Genre: humor.

Hell Hath No Fury- Takes place after the end of Jak 3. Keira is NOT happy about Jak and Ashelin's little "stunt" in the wasteland (hopefully you all know what I'm talking about), and she decides to, uh, take matters into her own hands. ;) Genre: angst/romance.

Midnight Solace- This story, too, takes place after Jak 3's conclusion. Jak's taking the time to ponder what a huge mistake he made one night, and just wallowing in angst. Aannnd, that's when someone shows up who might just make him feel a little better. _ Genre: angst/romance.

Behind The Eyes of a Hero- An angsty oneshot written in Jak's POV. Jak's tired of everyone looking at him and seeing nothing but the mask of a hero. They just don't understand what it's like to have the weight of the world on their shoulders. Genre: angst/romace.

Fireflies- A cute, fluffy oneshot of JakxKeira-ness. _ Takes place after Jak II, Jak drags Keira out to Haven Forest one night to show her a little surprise he's found. Keep in mind that fluff is not exactly my expertiese, since I'm so used to writing angsty romance, so it may not exactly be up-to-standards. Genre: romance.

Should've Taken Those Game Rights- A humorous oneshot about the horrors that are The Game of Which We Do Not Speak (the Lost Frontier). Daxter just happed to see it sitting on the shelf and bought it, and the gang soon finds out that maybe letting someone else own their game rights (Jak II reference for those who were wondering) wasn't the best idea. Genre: humor.

Ghost of Myself- Another angsty oneshot written in Jak's POV, takes place from about five minutes before the beginning of "Jak II" to the end of the opening cutscene. Jak realizes that he's lost himself after two years spent in the Baron's prison, and that he's become what he never thought he would be... a monster. Genre: angst.

Of Starlight and Revelations- A oneshot of pretty much pure DaxterxTess fluff, set after the events of Jak X. I decided to try my hand at something a little different, and come on, everyone's favorite ottsel couple deserves some attention, too. :D Genre: romance/humor.

Furry Shenanigans- Daxter finds himself wandering around the Underground hideout one day, and ends up face-to-face with something that'll scar him for life. Basically what happens when you mix an undefined stretch of free time and an ottsel with horrible karma. Genre: humor.

Predator- A dark oneshot centered around everyone's favorite Eco Demon himself. Dark Jak breaks free of Jak's restraint one night, and now he's out to wreak havoc, intent on putting his "master" in his place once and for all. Genre: horror/suspense

War of the Heart- A oneshot dedicated to everyone's favorite tattooed couple, because seriously, next to Daxter and Tess, these two get hardly any attention... well, when they're paired together, anyway. :P Takes place after the end of Jak 3, Torn and Ashelin centered. Genre: angst/romance

Your Eternal Flame- Jak and Keira get stranded out in the middle of Haven Forest during a snowstorm, and Christmas is only a few days away. In order to get back, they've got to cross frozen lakes, perilous cliffs, and all-round freezing conditions. Think they can make it? Genre: romance/adventure. Complete.

The Music of Heartbreak, the Joy of Song- A series of short (and by short, I mean less than a thousand words :P) onehots based off of a ten drabble music challenge. All of them will either mention or center around Jak/Keira in some way, and take place anywhere within the original trilogy or Jak X. Complete.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra

Footprints on the Sand- A collection of Makorra drabbles/short oneshots centered around different moments in the Legend of Korra universe. Missing scenes, Makorra fluff and angst, and plenty of Bolin to throw in his two-cents. Covers many genres. In-progress.

Seven Steps- A seven-drabble collection based on prompts for Makorra Week 2012. Ranges from angst to pure fluffiness and everything in between. Some Bosami as well. Complete.

Making Every Kind of Silence- Another seven-drabble collection, this time based on prompts for Bromotions Week 2012. Pretty much a smorgasboard of Mako and Bolin bro feels. In-progress.

Never Let Me Go- Oneshot AU, Makorra. Korra drowns in a battle against the Equalists, and Mako's reaction to it. Based on the song "Never Let Me Go" by Florence The Machine. Complete.

Pokemon

Hidden Affections- My first attempt at a Pokemon story, something completely and utterly different from Jak and Dax, so not sure how well it turned out. An AAML fic, both Ash and Misty are too afraid to admit their feelings for one another, but what happens when Ash overhears something he wasn't meant to? Contains "Misty's Song" for those of you that know what that is. Oh, and I forgot to put their ages, so here they are: Ash-16, Misty-16, Brock-uhh older than that. Genre: romance/hurt/comfort.

Co-authored Stories

Be Careful What You Wish For- My first co-authored fic, written with Fire-Eco-Sage and posted on her profile. Halloween-themed, Daxter finds a mysterious bottle in the back room of his bar, and things take a turn for the spooky when he somehow manages to turn all of his friends into monsters. A warning to all you Ashelin fans out there, while she isn't my favorite character (but I still admire her redeeming traits, mind you), FES and I went a little overboard poking fun at her. Nothing too bad, so don't start coming after us with morph-guns, please and thank you. :D Genre: humor/family. Complete.

A Not So Thankful Thanksgiving- Sequel to "Be Careful What You Wish For", Jak, Chris, and Aleighna are hosting Thanksgiving at their house this year, and as you can imagine, things rapidly plummet into chaos. XD Again a warning to Ashelin fans, we tend to get a bit carried away with our jokes towards her. ' Genre: humor/romance. Complete.

Christmas Gone Awry- The third in mine and FES's series, posted on her profile. It's almost Christmas time, and things get complicated when you combine a very over-protective Sage with his pregnant daughter, her soon-to-be-dead boyfriend, a few blasts from the past, and the double-trouble twins. XD Genre: family/supernatural. Complete.

Redefining Happy Birthday- Story number four co-authored by me and FES, starring the Mar gang. It's the twins' birthday, and they have a bit of a... disagreement with their older brother about how to celebrate it. Take two indepentant teenage birthday girls and one over-protective Jak, and you've got yourself a recipe for disaster. :DD Genre: family/drama. Complete.

Legacy Reborn- Is there a term for a series that's five stories long? The fifth installment of mine and FES's co-op works, probably the shortest one we'll ever write, as it's only a twoshot. I shant say much more, other than the fact that poor Keira's been suffering for about nine months waiting for this one. ;) Genre: family/humor. Part 2 in-progress.
