(Book One) A quest goes horribly wrong, and Hiccup is nearly killed. Toothless saves his life, and in doing so changes both their lives forever. The duo escape a cruel fate, but it's a case of out of the frying pan, into the fire. They are found by none other than members of Toothless' former pack, and now Hiccup must prove himself to the distrusting, human hostile dragons.

Family On Edge: SPOILERS FOR DRAGONS RACE THE EDGE! Dagur doesn't reach Viggo's fleet before Hiccup and the dragon riders do. Hiccup is captured, and severly wounded, leaving Astrid and the others to rescue him before it's too late. But even when they get him back to Dragon's Edge, is Hiccup really saved? Rated mild T for some violence. No swearing. Hiccstrid.

In which Toothless learns how Hiccup's mind works. If it's big, dangerous, vicious, has razor-sharp teeth, claws made for shredding, can breath fire (or worse), or otherwise a guaranteed machine of death, you should touch it. What could possibly go wrong? A series of one-shots of Hiccup's first (or mostly first) interactions with a dragon species. And Toothless' panic attacks.
