I'm a writer, editor, and all-around fandom nerd (with preferences towards Kingdom Hearts, Digimon, Pokemon, and Fate/Stay Night). Feel free to drop my a PM, or come scream at me about nonsense on Tumblr. Links to Vir (and the other Keyblades) from Damocles: My Stories: -Series- Guardian Twin: One of my more popular stories, it details the year of time between the end of Kingdom Hearts II and Blank Points. Sora, after he, Riku, and Kairi are captured, is forced to set Roxas free. Now the Nobody and his two new companions - the hyper-active Shadow and the mysterious Angel - are forced to travel the worlds to find some way to defeat a mysterious group known as the Time Racers while at the same time trying to save the Destiny Island trio. Their journey, though, brings the dark secrets of the past into the light. Completed. Before the Beginning: A story focused around the original Keyblade War, and thus is filled entirely with OCs. It tells the story of Gillick Nogard, a young Keyblader who never wanted to be one in the first place. As Gillick attempts to free himself of the 'curse' of the weapon, he is unwillingly drawn into the conflict between the Light and Dark Keyblade armies, while at the same time having to deal with an angel of death only known as the Knight. Complete. Phoenix Wings: Sequel to Guardian Twin. Rather than follow Roxas, as the original story did, this follows Lea and Zylen and takes place during the plot line of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. Lea, who has been given a second chance at life, struggles with the confusion of his identity - whether he is Lea or Axel - as he searches to redeem himself for his actions in Guardian Twin. Zylen, who is trapped between times, must struggle for redemption of his own, and fight against a man who is disrupting the flow of time. Complete. Leave the Broken Pieces: A story about Ven and his apprenticeship under Master Xehanort. Much shorter than my other series, and with only a few ties to them. Discontinued. Ghost of Oblivion: Currently my only story that doesn't have anything to do with Kingdom Hearts; instead, it's about Pokemon. A girl named Eris, upon arriving in the Kalos region, finds a honedge attached to her arm. In order to get rid of it, she enlists in Yveltal's help, but he asks for her servitude in turn. Complete. Damocles: A Fate/Stay Night and Kingdom Hearts cross-over. Sora finds himself on Gaia and saves Shirou instead of Kiritsugu, accidentally performing the Keyblade Inheritance ceremony in the process. Now with an apprentice he's not quite sure how to handle, Sora and Shirou will navigate the worlds and the strange master-apprentice relationship they've found themselves in. Complete. -One Shots- Final Light: A retelling of Xion's death through Roxas's eyes. Poetry intermixed with it. All That Remains: A story that has ties with Guardian Twin, but can be read alone. It tells of the Lingering Sentiment and the surprising companion he finds after more than a decade alone. Unreachable: A story that tells of Eraqus's memories of Terra when the boy had first become his apprentice, and his mourning when he realizes he'd have to destroy the boy he'd come to consider his son. Dark Dawn: A look at Riku, from when he was a little kid, to the end of the first Kingdom Hearts game. Don't Go Gently: A study on Kairi and how she deals with both her own grief and the grief of those around her after the events of KHIII. -Up-Coming Stories- After Eden: A Digimon fanfic (finally). After they're hired to investigate the Rifts connecting the real world and the Network, Kayla and Pyromon think they'll finally have the adventure they always wanted. However, dealing with culture-shocked digimon is no easy task, and in the real world, sometimes problems aren't as simple as just defeating the bad guy. After Eden is part wish fulfilment, part therapy, and part love letter to the Digimon franchise. Gray-and-gray morality and extensive world building abounds. (Watch as I attempt to fit every aspect of Digimon lore into the worldbuilding. It'll work. Trust me.) So, what happened to This Day Alright, I feel like I should tackle the maybe-elephant in the room. If you've been following me long enough, you're probably familiar with Guardian Twin and its sequel, Phoenix Wings. At the end of Phoenix Wings, I said I planned on turning the pair of stories into a trilogy, with the final story coming out after Kingdom Hearts III. I was pretty burnt out after Phoenix Wings, and I figured that'd give me plenty of time to recover. ...Well. I'm guessing you've probably already figured it out, but, uh...there's a 99% chance I'm not writing This Day. Honestly, in hindsight, I feel like I shouldn't have written Phoenix Wings; it wasn't very well thought-out, and it probably would've worked better as a series of one-shots just to show where everyone was after the events of Guardian Twin. After the events of Phoenix Wings, I'm...not entirely sure how to salvage the story. I honestly have no motivation to write This Day, and have several other projects to focus on, anyways. Besides, I kind of feel like, after so many years, nobody's still legitimately waiting for this, so...I feel a little less bad about just...not writing the story. There's always the chance I'll decide to write it later, but it's...it's pretty small, and I'd prefer to focus on the things I have more motivation and inspiration to work on. I'm sorry for anyone who may still have been waiting for this story, and I appreciate your support, regardless. Hopefully there are no hard feelings (though I'd understand if there were), I just...figured I should be upfront about this one. |
