Author has written 10 stories for Death Note, Anime X-overs, Vampire Knight, and Naruto. Most recent update of my goings on: (9/15/18) My dearest friends, it has been too long. No seriously, it's been almost 6 years exactly since I last updated my profile and probably longer than that since I posted any stories. I know I left many of you on the edges of your seats with a few of my tales and I apologize for having kept you waiting for so long. This was unintentional on my part. I failed you. A Trickle of events cascaded through my life and rocked me to my core. I won't bore you with the details, besides to say that the most crippling of which was when I lost my computer and all the work I had on it and the several times I had to move before I was financially stable enough to save up to build a new one. Suffice it to say that I fell off the grid and I know that I lost contact with several of you who I considered good friends. I understand if you have moved on to bigger and better things and have forgotten about me, but if you should ever look this way again, know that I survived. I am still among you. I didn't forget about you. And I haven't given up on my dreams. I shall take some time now, to calibrate myself. If you wish, please drop me a line, so that we may chat and catch up with each other. I would love to see how everyone is doing. I do not know yet if I will finish my previous projects, for I will have to dip into them anew, or if I shall start something fresh. If I decide not to, it will be because I want to preserve the integrity of the stories and not warp them from their original themes. Thanks for being here, even when I couldn't be. S.I Basic BS that people usually skip when they look at a profile and see a lot of writing :I suppose it's about time I fill something in here for readers to absorb. I love to write, that's obvious. If I didn't then I wouldn't be here, posting anything for our enjoyment. Fanfiction, however, is only a small part of what I create on the literary scale. (I write poetry, and short stories too). It keeps me in the rhythm and flow. Otherwise I fear I would get rusty. So if anyone is looking for my more uniquely original pieces, I will say that I keep them under lock and key. Where would I be if I landed a writing contract and all my works were already floating in the net? Nowhere, that's where. Death Note was my muse upon entering this site as a literary contributor, however I have drifted somewhat over time. Naruto seems to be the centerpiece these days, though my works never take place in their universe. Like everything I write, they are merely actors playing the parts in my own multi-verse. In real life I have a job, pay my bills, play video games when the urge strikes me, or indulge in my vice reading. As for what I read, that often depends how I'm feeling at the time. I'm not ashamed to read romance, but adventure, sci fi, mystery, horror are also my favorites. That means I'm generally open to most genres of writing, which makes reading fanfiction so much fun. Often enough I find this place has a wide variety of different crossings of ideas and styles that keeps me coming back for more. I will also admit to an ever growing library of manga, but as many as I buy, I can't shake the feeling that I'm not supporting my favorite bards enough. Being a storyteller myself, I know how important it is that others tales are told and passed on. In the end after we die and all our possessions are taken from us all we will have left are our stories. And then we'll see who is the richest. So anyways, I'm hoping to update this soon with my list of writings and teasers just to make your mouths water. Now all I have to do is get a list going. Maybe give a list of possible ideas for stories and have others vote on what they'd like me to write? I'll take suggestions if you have any. hint hint. Pairings I can't help but love to read about: Gaara/Sakura L/Light Ginji/Ban Thread Master Kazuki/any pairing really Writings: A list of my posted titles and whatever bit of inconsequential drabble I wish to add about it. No one Else But Me: My first piece for Death Note. It's small and to the point, more like my test run before really diving in. I wrote it in about an hour and posted it a few days later after some tinkering and playing on the site. So now thanks to it I know exactly what to do. Yay! Unfortunately, not many have really read it. I suggest you do. Cure For the Common Shivers: ok, so this fic is quite a bit longer than my first. It was originally created while I stared at a blank screen (My computer had frozen and I had to reboot.) and thought," Damn it's freezing in here." It was then that I had found my window was open and the weather was aroound 9 degrees at the time. So when I began writing the piece it was really my thoughts at the moment, then somehow managed to morph into L. Unintentional, but I think I can live with the consequences. After I posted it, I half believed that I wouldn't get very many hits, that my style of writing was just not up to par. I am glad I was proven wrong. Death Note Christmas: ok so this was a bit of a whim really. I saw this show in the travel channel about interesting candy shops. Turns out there's this place in California that lets you make your own candy bars. You get to pick the kind of chocolate and you get to pick any amount of any kind of candy that you can find in the store to decorate it with. And you even get to place where you want the candy to be! It's like making a ginger bread house, only it's a candy bar. lol So I had that in mind when I wrote it. Tsukiko's Dream: So this was something I put together for a friend of mine. We have this Rp on another site, and our two characters are falling in love, though they might not admit it. And there is so much opposition between them. Anyway, I had been itching to write my first lemony piece and this just seemed the perfect opportunity. After some false starts and a few blushy moments, I managed it. Overall, I believe it turned out swell. ' L and The Facebook Challenge: I was inspired one day after pilfering around in my facebook account. I don't really get on much, but when I do it's only to get bogged down by invites to Farmville or friend requests from people I've never even seen before. But despite that I liked chatting with my friends and posting up random bits of know how that I like to pass along on my wall. I wondered if L would ever get into this sort of thing, considering it is a facet of our modern day life and since he is always on a computer. . . I mean he can't be working ALL of the time, right? But I guess with this story, even when he's not working, mysteries end up slapping him in the face. Poor guy. Oh, well. It's still fun to think about, yes? Red:I wanted to do something a little different. Get the writing juices flowing. I thought about the manga I had been reading most recently, Vampire Knight and this sort of sprang up from it. Super short, but it wasn't meant to be long in the first place, to those who are disappointed. Maybe I'll write a little more for another if I get the need for a new project. Vampire Knight is full of drama, which seems to be my forte, much to my chagrin. Losing Perspective: So I've gotten into reading about Naruto lately, don't really know why. Anyway, I found this wonderful story by someone who claims to be L. For those who know my works you'll find the humor in that. Anyway, it inspired me to write a fic of my own staring Gaara and Sakura. This is sort of a getting in gear piece to help me think more about what I want to do. So look for it, cause it's gonna be my next long fic for sure! ' Skittle Junkies: So to get into the grove of this, I had to read some of the Naruto manga. Needless to say, I realized I may have bitten off more than I could chew. There are so many characters in that universe that it was both perfect and horrible for my story idea. Trying to find a good character combo was hard enough, as you'll probably figure out soon enough why. I didn't want it to be like other Insane Asylum stories you've read and I wanted to put a modern twist to these characters. That's why it's like real life, but with a lot of ninja references. And for the record, I'm sorry about making Sasuke the bad guy in this. He's not all that bad, but I needed to have someone play the part to push things into motion. For a Brother:My one shot for Dazy. This one came as a total surprise too, cause I only had the beginning set up. But once I got started I was like whoosh!!! Unstoppable! I actually had a hard time not putting in a few things, cause I didn't want to spoil it for those who read Skittle Junkies. But I'm glad of it, cause it proved helpful in many ways. Songs that have inspired, or otherwise remind me of something I've written: Through Glass by Stone Sour (Losing Perspective) Crawling by Linkin Park (Skittle Junkies) Stories that have given me mindgasms: The Best Intentions by The Legendaerie LT A Fight for Dominance by Kurotsuki-Tenchi Sunagakure Belly Dance by Celtic Oak (If you want to be on this list, show me your best smut! I'm a romantic at heart, so I like reading about others finding love.) Trophies (Things I've earned from other users. SQUEE!) Cookies Skellington Zero stories Blue Mondays by Skellington Zero |
