I'm back!!!

Introduction: Hello, I recently changed my user name from chika to RemyRems... reason being, it's a name I use for gaming among other things. It's easier for friends on other sites to find me with the name changed to one that I regularly use. Also, I'm about to give some stories a face lift. This will be the only name change I ever undertake. Also, a young one caught site of my false name (the one previously used for this site) on artwork in a sketchbook that I did. It fell out of my bag. So I immediately ran back to change the name on my art site and here. They must never know. My personal life is set apart from my work life and the two must never intertwine.

I shamelessly use Kagome in my fanfictions more than anyone, she is my go to girl, my fanfiction muse. Because I think inside all of us is a little Kagome.

I do admit, I have been rather slow with updates between work, school, and the ups and downs of life. We recently lost a couple of family members within the past year and I had surgeries. So, please bare with me. I intend to finish every story I write and I apologize for lengths in between updates.

Also, I strongly discourage anyone taking ideas/scenes, crediting me, and never telling me. It's happened a time or two and is rather annoying when fans come to me telling me someone blatantly took work (learning second hand is not fun), copied/pasted to their story, and didn't inform me. This is fanfiction. Write your work, not mine. And if you want to take a dialogue/scene of mine please INFORM ME FIRST and then get my permission. Most of the time I'll likely say yes, it's just that I like knowing beforehand.

And I hate to make this profile sound serious, but after years of writing I believe a modicum of serious topics that have come up should be touched on.

About Requests:

As to people making requests from me for certain fanfictions. I've had people write me two sentences such as "Rite fanfiction of *insert couple or insert a whole list of couples* plez. We need moar." And the same person will send me like 5 of these messages. While it is touching that someone thinks my work is wonderful enough that they want me to write their pairings I feel at the same time mildly offended when there isn't much reasoning behind it to go on, no introduction to who this person is, no description of what they want to see, and brief misspelled text-message-like writing as a message.

I've also had scammers. People who haven't read any of my work and are just trying to get a one-shot fix from anyone of their pairing. Look guys, when you pointedly evade questions about our works, we notice. Especially if you don't look at the request section of their profile and ask them about doing something they've never ever touched, like I know, TV dramas and musicals!

I am happy to look at requests and to do requests. Just take into consideration I have works I do need to finish before I can start another fanfiction.

My favorite story to write so far: If I had to choose I would say Breaking the Silence and Priestess Alchemist. Breaking the Silence because I've never written exclusively about a character with an impairment. I wanted to challenge myself and I've had a lot of fun with it. It's taught me a lot about minute details. Priestess Alchemist because I love Fullmetal Alchemist and I honestly wanted more stories out there to exist where Kagome and Edward were a couple. It made too much sense for two wanderers with such huge destinies to fall in love. I wanted to make their worlds one. It was very hard keeping people in character, but I wanted to see more of this pairing. I'm a few chapters short of finishing. All it takes is me sitting down to watching the last season again and I can do it. I just need a weekend off. So, please go out there and write me some fanfiction about Kagome and Edward. Send me a link when you do and I'll read it! *

Characters pairings I find cute: Just give me time and I'll find all pairings cute.

Future fanfictions I'd like to write later on: Mass Effect (Garrus/FemShep, Thane/Femshep), Dragon Age (Solas/Lavellan, Anders/Hawke, Fenris/Hawke, Solas/Lavellan), Firefly (Jayne/Kaylee), Deathnote... Deathnote... Deathnote, Deathnote, Deathnote (L/Kagome... yeah, a crossover). Okay, I honestly have a Deathnote/Inuyasha (L/Kagome with a dash of mild Kagome/Light) in the works but I'm not letting myself post any new fanfiction until I finish at least one more.

Red Moon: This was completely random and written when I was quite young with not as much knowledge of grammar. It was meant to be random and stupid, but something to laugh at. Poking fun at Twilight.

Idiots Behind Vampire Knight: Every author has that one Mary-Sue fanfiction that haunts them. This is mine.

Dark Side of the Moon: First serious story. I tried my hardest to show that and bonding between Kagome and Sesshomaru. My first finished story ever... I think... I'm not really counting Red Moon.

The Beauty and the Tree: My first serious crossover that I'm ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH. I've always been a sucker for prophecies and such. I hope I don't stray off character. This one is the hardest one for me to finish because there is so much information and lore, but I do plan on finishing it.

Breaking the Silence: Third fanfiction to ever finish! Had so much fun writing a mute character!

Priestess Alchemist: One of my top favorites because I like the two worlds and Ed and Kagome always seemed a fit to me. I intend on finishing this fanfiction soon and hopefully updating it on here as another finished fanfiction. I think this is honestly where my writing has improved the most as well as keeping characters strictly in character. I intend to finish this one soon.

A Timeless Flower: Probably going to finish this one after Priestess Alchemist. I know how I want it to go, but I just finished an Ouran fanfic and am a little wiped by the Ouran world so I have to recharge.

A Vampire's Keeper: Sexually charged. I'm positive that this is going to be one of those fanfics that gets out of hand *it is a vampire fanfic after all*. It's a Kagome/Aidou pairing (Inuyasha/Vampire Knight).

Blue Blood: I've never done snippets before so this has been fun to experiment with. Trying to condense everything and make it brief and fulfilling is really cool. Everyone should test their writing boundaries. It's not finished yet, but the ending is. XD Anyone can write a beginning and an ending, it takes serious shit to write the in between. When you see me update this one that almost always means I'm working on other stories and wanting you guys to know that I'm active with these snippets so you know a chapter from another fanfiction isn't far behind.

Get Me Home: Will probably finish this one alongside Beauty and The Tree.

Lady of the West: I will undoubtedly go back and revise/rewrite the chapters in this one. I need it to be more descriptive and heady. To me, Kagome was just better with Kouga.

TO COME...

Lead Me Into Temptation: Kagome (Inuyasha) and Zero (Vampire Knight). You're going to hate me and love me when I say that this one is actually completely finished. I wrote it as a promise to fans who wanted Zero and Kagome to have a story since I'm writing an Aidou/Kagome one (A Vampire's Keeper) and I kind of got lost in it and its steamy scenes and storyline that I finished it without realizing it. And here comes the double-edged sword. I'm ready to post the chapters but I've made a vow to myself that I won't until I finish at least another fanfiction now that I've finished Breaking The Silence. So, here's hoping my busy tail finishes something else so I can post this up.

Bittersweet: (I know. Corny title. I'm still kicking it around in my head.) This is Kagome (Inuyasha) and L romance (Deathnote) with mild situations with Light before she falls in love with L. I have 65 pages written. I am forcing myself to complete a fanfiction before I post any of these.

M is for Miroku: Kagome/Miroku (Inuyasha) falling in love. A story very much like Blue Blood in that it is drabbles telling how a pair fall in love.

A Man's Man: Kagome/Miroku Sango/Kouga (Inuyasha) I believe you'll be exceedingly fond of this one. It's very much based on Twelfth Night and set in present day with one scene influenced by She's The Man.
