 Author has written 5 stories for Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dungeons and Dragons, and My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア. After eleven years on here, I believe that the time has come to retire. I'm not quitting writing fanfiction, but I feel like I have outgrown this website. My experience has not been bad nor have I had issues with admins or other users. What I have found is that I am too old for this old format. When I started, this website was the only one I knew of and could turn to for fanfiction. That is no longer the case. It is difficult to connect with other people here and the level of interaction is low. I look at certain stories and wonder why despite their massive amount of grammatical errors, incoherent blocks of text, and playing fast and loose with cannon characters and OC's and still get hundreds of comments and favorites while I spend hours or even days on a chapter. It's been really hurting my self-esteem as a writer who has grown so much over the time period I've been on this site. In conclusion, I'm not shutting down this account just yet. I'll probably be moving what remains of the stories I've decided to continue and move them to either Tumblr or Archive of Our Own. Within the next few months, I will retire this account. If there's anyone who is reading this, you can still find me at certified-hobgoblin on Tumblr or on AO3 as AliceRed1878. I haven't posted anything in terms of content yet, but I will soon.
