--The Ranger's Apprentice series is a brilliantly written story about a young, orphaned boy, who is chosen by a Ranger as the ranger's apprentice. This series follows Will as he learns the basics of becoming a ranger.

~Leven Thumps: The Gateway to Foo, The Whispered Secret, The Eyes of the Want, & The Wrath of Ezra, & (coming soon) The Ruins of Alder (Obert Skye)

--This is my favorite series of all time. Follow Leven Thumps, a fourteen-year-old boy who learns his destiny is intertwined with Foo, a realm hidden in the folds of the human mind. Along his way he'll run into toothpicks, crazy candy, unstable rants, and secrets that hunt-you-down. Obert Skye's books are both insightful and fun!

~The Inheritance Cycle: Eragon, Eldest, & Brisingr (Christopher Paolini)

--Another great series, this time its about a boy who discovers a dragon egg while hunting. He is then pulled into a struggle between the Varden and the empire for control of Alagaesia. He's right in the thick of things because he's the first new dragon rider. Plus he's hoplessly in love with a beautiful elf, named Arya.

~Harry Potter: Books 1-7 (J.K. Rowling)

--If you haven't read, or at least heard of Harry Potter, where have you been? This is a must read!

Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath (Cornelia Funke)

--I love the brillance and originality of this story. It's centered around a young girl who can read things into or out of books. It's a great story and will keep you guessing right up until the last word.

Author's Notes

As some of you may know, Teengamer and I are teaming up to do an Avatar fanfic! Expect some kataang! This fanfic is a work in progress. I'm still thinking up plot twists and writing the prologue!

My other fanfic, Sycophant in Training, is a work in progress. I'm taking a short break from writing this, but I'm slowly getting the chapters done.

A Winter Wonderland: This story is going to be finished... Eventually! I really have to work on it sometime.
