Yeah. My stories kinda died. I will maybe sometime in the future update them. But no promises and no dates. Sorry.

Two Sides of the Same Coin is more or less officially dead.

I'm currently attempting to update Mirror Image with the help of a new beta, SynFoNi.

The story starts off slow, but it'll get better when the events of first year start taking place. There won't be any pairings for a while. Not until third year at least...

I read a lot of fanfiction. My favorites are AU's, especially ones where Harry is pro-Slytherin without being evil.

I can't read post-Hogwarts, because for me the story is over when Voldemort dies... I can't read Marauder Era for two reasons... it should be Lily/Severus, not Lily/James, and second, I can't stand reading it knowing that half the characters die before Voldemorts first fall, and the other half die before his second.

The exceptions to that are The Road Not Taken and The Moment it Began, since they are both Lily/Severus and AU. Also, Time to Spare, just because Harry and Draco are getting along without being in love. And all those are well written.

I'm not really a fan of slash but I love Child of Four and the whole Saving Connor series, even those are both really slashy, just because I love the way all of the characters are written.

It just annoys me that that there aren't really any fics where Draco and Harry get along like that without falling in love.

I also like Dark Harry fics sometimes, depending on how they're written. I love Curse of Fate, Darkness Within, Deguiser, A Diffrent Life, Dark Lord Potter Part 1.

Some of my all time favorites are Altered Destinies, Backwards with Purpose, Child of Grace, Have You Ever, Friend or Foe, Catechism, and Eight.

Lots of variety, and even though four of those are time travel fic, they are excedingly different time travel fics.

And yes, another pet peeve of mine... when Harry goes back in time, befriends Ron again, and when Malfoy comes into the compartment with the "some familes are better than others" Harry completely humiliates him. I get it the first time around, yea. Draco is a spoiled brat that's incredibly prejudiced, and niether one really knows any better.

But when 17 + year old Harry comes back, especially post HBP Harry, knowing that Draco never really had a choice and in the end 16 years of conditioning was't enough to make him a murderer, and treats him even worse then the first time around... That makes him worse than his father bullying Snape, something I have never quite forgiven James Potter for, since at least then they were on equal footing (at least one wasn't a fully trained adult against an eleven year old).

My opinion on Slytherins is that they aren't evil; they have a very small circle of people they care about, and they have high self-preservation.

The reason most of the Slytherins wound up Death Eaters is that they did this math. Join the Light; the Dark Lord comes and kills them and their family. Since they are Sytherins and he feels they should all join him since they are purebloods and he is the heir, they will probably die a very painful death. Join the Dark, and at worst they will be captured and sent to Azkaban, or die, though the death rates are about the same on both sides. Their families will be safe; those that don't have families will think on how the Dark Lord is winning, and will most likely be able to break them out of Azkaban.

Being willing to kill and torture people to protect yourself and your family isn't right, but except for the rare few like Bellatrix, they don't really love causing pain all that much. And I think that Azkaban may have made Bella crazier than she was to begin with... either that or being repeatedly Crucio'd.

And I also really, really want to know why everyone hates Salazar Slytherin.

I used to have a little rant here about that... but then I turned it into a oneshot. So read "On the Outside Looking In"... it's going to be used a background for my other two stories... sort of...
