![]() Author has written 5 stories for Naruto. (Updated 6/24/2020) Hi there! If you actually plan on reading this little bio then a special thank you. You rock! About me: I'm just a Christian guy who likes writing fanfics for fun. I like seeing things come together in a variety of ways so I'm sure that factors into my love of writing. Gender: Male Age: Irrelevant lol. Status: Active How I came to FanFiction: I ran into FanFiction in 2018 and found some of the works I ran into very interesting. I really enjoyed reading some of the Naruto fanfics out there, especially those dealing with rewriting the ending to Naruto. I personally took issue with how Naruto Shippuden ended and the war arc fell kinda flat for me. How the pairings were handled was like the straw that broke the camels back for me though lol. I won't deny supporting Naruto and Sakura as a couple, but I wouldn't have minded Naruto ending up with Hinata that much IF I felt like it was well-written. To me, Naruto: The Last and the ending of Naruto, in general, felt rushed and sloppy. Of course, anyone is free to disagree, but that's just how I feel personally. I read stories from some great authors on this site and came to really appreciate the idea of Fanfiction as a whole. Fanfics of any kind show that people care enough about something (how a series ended, for example) to write about it, and having so many readers reading and reviewing on stories just shows that there's another group of people out there who also care. Long story short, I finally decided to start writing my own stories but I wanted to make sure I had a solid concept or idea before starting anything. As a result, I planned a lot when I first started and I still do to this day. I don't like writing something without knowing where it's headed so planning helps to counter that. My stories will vary across genres, but will probably deal more with Action/Adventure, Drama, and maybe some Romance. I put a high value on the Author to Reader relationship. If you've left a review (not as a guest), I've probably replied to you. I like listening to readers and hearing their opinions on things. I always welcome reviews because they are not only encouraging but useful to me as a writer. I do not respond to hateful comments, but I do respond to constructive criticism (there is a difference lol). About my Stories: In my stories, you may note that some of my characters hold very extreme ideologies or speak in ways that are vulgar and derogatory. I would think this to be obvious, but in case it isn't, I will go on the record as saying that I do not necessarily agree with my characters' actions, choice of words, ideologies, etc. If I make all of my characters censored characters who only act the way I want them to or only speak in a way I would approve of, then they are not really their own characters and they cannot stand on their own. Attempts to censor characters often have the bad side effect of seriously hindering their voice and rendering them bland and uninteresting. In real life, people often do or say things that I agree with, but I must also consider that people often do and say things that I disagree with. I strive to create this same real-world environment in my stories and I will let characters say what I believe they would have said if they were put in the situation they are currently in. Updates to stories are also something I want to mention here. Updates used to be insanely fast (sometimes days apart), but I've learned a lot more about writing since the time I started, so incorporating all of those techniques may slow down the writing process. That is not to say that uploads that fast cannot occur, but that they will be rare. In Christianity, Jesus purposefully avoids letting any of his followers know when certain things (like His return) will happen. He says that always being ready is best because you don't know when those things will happen. I like that idea, and as such, I have no upload schedule. ;) I don't think I could stick to one even if I had it lol. Vigilant readers or readers who actually follow me will have an edge. It might take me two weeks to upload a chapter sometimes or it may take me a week or I may upload the next day. So...be watchful. :) Also, if my stories fall into any cliches, I apologize...but not really. I mean, what hasn't been done lol. My Stories: Naruto: Together Again - This was my very first story in the Fanfiction world. I think that it actually ended up being a very enjoyable story, but looking back, I can see where I made mistakes. Looking back on it now, I can see how inexperienced I was, but despite its flaws, I have great respect for it as my first story. I don't think it's perfect, but because it was my starting point I have to respect it a great deal. It holds a special place in my heart since it was my very first fanfic and that will never change. Naruto: Implosion - I wrote this one-shot as a prequel to Naruto: Together Again. I don't have that much to say about it and I only wrote it because it was requested by some reviewers of the previous story. Naruto: Love in the Time of Ninja - This story is a sequel to Naruto: Together Again. It's based in the same universe and was actually been really fun for me to write. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Naruto: If Only She Knew: I was super burnt out from writing the longer stories on this list and decided to write something that was just stupid and easy to write lol. Naruto: A Rogue Story: In the final stages before release... One last thing, I complete all of my stories. If I don't think I'll be able to finish a story, I don't start it. I've come across some unfinished stories before, and sometimes, it really hurts not knowing how the story ends. It's not fair to the reader to lead them to a certain point and just leave them there. I understand if life happens and the author has a valid reason for not being able to complete the story, but a lot of times that isn't the case lol. I do, however, think that if the author can't complete the story for whatever reason (or doesn't want to), informing the readers is the right way to go. In general, I 'm very wary of unfinished stories and might not even touch them (unless the update process is still ongoing); however, I will read an unfinished story if the reviews to it are so good that I think it's an exceptionally good story or if the reviews make me think that the story could teach me a thing or two. If you read all of that, then a special thanks for checking out my profile and I hope you enjoy my stories! |
