![]() Author has written 1 story for Jane Eyre. Hello everyone, First of all I want to say how sorry I am for leaving my fanfic unfinished. I know, it's been years since the last time I uploaded any new chapters but the truth is that I do not know how to continue this story, I've tried to continue it and I just can't. I am very touched by all the reviews you've left even though you know that I'm not writing anymore so that's why I wished to leave this message here, to thank you all and to tell you that I'd love to finish this story but I really am stuck. I have some drafts for the chapter following the last I've uploaded but I'm never satisfied with it, that's why I've stopped writing. So why I propose to you guys, if anyone's reading this little message, is that you give me fresh ideas about how this story should continue and I'll try my very best to apply those ideas to the story and get the plot going again...of course, I'll be very grateful towards you and I'll give you full credit for your ideas. If anyone wishes to help me out with this you can contact me by sending me a personal note here on FF or by leaving me a message on Melissa. Name: Melissa, but my friends usually call me Mel or Misha... Website: Age: 28 years old Gender: I'm a girl, but I guess you've already figured that one out, after having read my name... I live in Paris, France, but I was born in the south of Mexico, in a city called Tapachula...I've also spent a few years in the US, and have moved a lot since my dad's in the Mexican Army. I've been to 18 different schools, from Kidergarden to High School, and now I'm studying Law at the Sorbonne University, here in Paris. Interests: I looooove to read!!! It's getting out of control, but I really can't stop it; I think it's my only addiction! I don't want to end up as crazy as Don Quixote...well, anyway, it's too late, 'cause I'm already as daft as one can possibly be! Besides reading I enjoy writing (obviously!); there was a time, while I was a teenager, when I used to write lots of poetry, but now, as an adult, I prefer to write prose...I also like sleeping and sitting on my butt without doing anything at all, so I guess you'd be right if you were to call me lazy! I really like to listen to French music...I get bored very easily... Other Pastimes: Drawing, painting. I enjoy going to the Louvre as often as possible to draw some of their most beautiful sculptures (which are very difficult to draw, I should add!), for me, that's one of the best ways to spend a cold Sunday afternoon, LOL...I've been an amateur actress for some years now, and that's one of my favorite activities (which is kind of paradoxal since I'm a rather shy person), I enjoy becoming someone else by playing a character who's sometimes so different from me! I also love to go to the movies, or to the theater if there's a good play in town...I love French food, and I'm very much in love with all the varieties of French wines. I also like to learn different languages and to meet people from different cultures who can teach me a lot of things about their countries and customs! I travel rather often, because I just love travelling! Things (and people) I dislike: Bush, American politicians in general, and that's about everything I hate...Ohh yeah, I hate wars, I think it's just the stupidest notion on this poor Earth, and I also dislike the army in general, from any country...dunno why! (perhaps because my dad's in the army? LOL). I also hate maths, hehe... Favorite Mangas: God Child, Fruits Basket, Angel Sanctuary, Georgie, Antique Romance (even though that one's a Manhwa), Fairy Cube, etc... Favorite Books: Jane Eyre, Notre Dame de Paris, Far From the Mading Crowd, Les Miserables, Sherlock Holmes (all of the stories written by Connan Doyle about this great detective!), The Little Prince, 20 000 Leagues Under the Sea, Inkheart, The Beekeeper's Apprentice and the other volumes of this saga by Laurie R. King, the magical universe of Harry Potter (there's so much imagination there!), etc... Favorite actors and actresses: Anthony Hopkins, Daniel Auteuil, Marion Cotillard, Richard Armitage, Gerard Butler, Ruth Wilson, Toby Stephens, Liam Neeson. Favorite Movies: Les Miserables (1998 version), Left Luggage, The Phantom of the Opera (2004), La Mome, Le Huitieme Jour, Jane Eyre (2006 BBC's version, of course!), North and South. Rasputin, Schindler's List, The Silence of the Lambs, The Remains of the Day, The Sound of Music, Dear Frankie... Favorite Musicals: The Phantom of the Opera, Notre Dame de Paris (a French opera rock), Les Miserables, Le Petit Prince (another French musical...very sweet!), Jane Eyre (I'm a huge James Barbour fan!), The Scarlet Pimpernel... What I Would Like to Be: I think I'd love to be able to sing, to have a beautiful voice, because I would have liked so much to be a Broadway/West End actress, so I could play my favorite musical characters, LOL! That's been my biggest dream for so long, but I can't sing and I'm a terrible dancer, hehe! So I think I'll just become a lawyer... Nationality: Mexican, so, as you can imagine, English is not my native tongue, but a second language I learned while living in Florida and Texas. I shall write some of my fanfics either in Spanish or in French. Some Quotes I Like: "Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counsellors, and the most patient of teachers". -Charles W. Eliot, US Educator. "There is no mistaking a real book when one meets it. It is like falling in love." -Christopher Morley, US journalist and writer. "You risk tears if you let yourself be tamed." -Antoine de Saint-Exupery, in The Little Prince. "Language is a source of misunderstandings." -Antoine de Saint-Exupery, in The Little Prince. "The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed." -Carl Jung, Swiss Psychologist. |
