Quick Notice for Those Who Wait...--11-10-08

Okay, I admit I still kinda surprise to see that there's readers out there in FF who actually bother to check for my update of Hourglass. Really.

As of today. I receive more review for Hourglass with only two words: "update soon!" (thank you, randomfish :) that was really waking me up XD)

Well, i really want to update soon myself, but I am now being tied up with work. Also after my marriage there's a lot of things still need to be managed and arranged (like moving into new home, the housework, the office work, the lure of playing games...etc etc...) which I honestly never had imagined of how complicated and time consuming. And not to say that I'm still in holiday mood after six days of honeymoon holiday and ten days of yearly collective holiday (that some of them I wonderfully spent with my favorite writer YenGirl :D)

So, now you know what causing the delay...

For those who still waiting until now, I want to apologize to make you all wait and also thank you very much that you all still pour down your kind attention for my fic :). Hopefully there's new chapter of Hourglass coming up next week! (should my boss not hanging me in front of his door because I'm procrastinating my work again :P)

Updates of Hourglass -- 04-08-08

To all readers who hop here because you actually wanted to know why the update on Hourglass will become slower than usual... well, the reason is because... I love to have some fun making joke on you all. =grins as she watch mass of silent startled faces around the room while they stares disbelievingly at her before suddenly started to growl in outrage over the not so funny of a joke=

Okay, okay, I'm sorry! =quickly hides under her computer table= that's not the real reason I wanted to tell you all. =sighs= I think I'm just nervous... because... um... the real reason why I won't have enough time to work through a chapter per week is that I'll be busy preparing for one of my most important events in life within two months' time: Binding myself for a lifetime commitment with my own Private Knight in shining... erm... black suit.

The event common people named as... wedding. Yeah... that's the name, I think.

Phew, I've said it =wipes off nervous sweat from her forehead=

The preparation for that event is actually killing me, as i'm torn between tight crazy schedule, my actual work and so much addiction in sitting in front of my computer typing up how Kain and Ruka screw each other.

The good news is (heh, you think I only have bad news, huh? =smirk=), I figured this is just a temporary delay in update, that'll soon become normal again past September (about 10 days other than 2 to 3 weeks per chapter). I hope all of you could understand and be patient for some time.

Well, I know I've said that I didn't write much, but someone had suggest me to keep on rummaging at my recycle bin. She had also offer to beta for me, something I really, really appreciate from her. So, when I found nothing still worth from the bin, I decided to write something new. Hope that this story really pays off her trouble reviewing my story =grins=. Random, weird (funny?) things − 30-05-2008

I couldn’t distinguish Kain Akatsuki and Aidou Hanabusa at all on the first month I started to read Vampire Knight. Now I’m better, only have to place like 5 extra seconds, and I’ll know who it is. No, don't even think of asking me about young Ichiru and young Zero!

Escalator makes me nervous.

When I’m low at patience (which is quite often) and someone ask me about anything, I just snapped “Google it, you lazy ass!”

Tomorrow. I have a hard time spelling the word and often use double ‘m’ instead of double ‘r’. Same thing happens with embarrass, address, business.

When I’m driving I always forgot to stop at red traffic lights (didn’t even realize it’s there, to begin with) if there’s no car queuing in front of me, and have my friends or whoever being in the same car with me yelled in panic (poor soul…)

Do online chat with me while I’m chatting with somebody else too, and see how many incorrect message I’ll address you. I’m hopeless!

I hate Naruto without any apparent reason.

My Private Addiction--29-03-2008

As long as I can afford to remember, reading manga and watching anime had been a part of my daily life. I started with Candy-Candy --yeah, that one classic piece by Yumiko Igarashi--in my third year of elementary school--, and can't get my hands (and my heart, too) away from it ever since. It's totally captivating me, all those great storyline, vividly beautiful picture, and so unlike any novel --yup, I also read children story book, start at my youngest of age--which present text only and require own imagination to bring it to life It fascinated me even most, as a child, to know from my friend that these manga i've drown in so much about, were produced manually by the hands of those skillful mangaka--even though these days, some of them start to do it digitally.

As a result of modern technology, nowdays I can enjoy most of my favorite manga through what called as 'scanlation'. Of course I still love to have a paperback copy of my favorite titles, the kind you can smell the scent of ink on its pages :D.

Though scanlation itself while sometimes poor in graphic quality, but still best in minimizing storage space, its distributability and the up-to-dateness (for some popular title)--thanks to the effort of many scanlation group in presented us our 'little addiction'. Anyway, does it really matter if the manga itself comes in paperback print or digital image? For me, as long as I can indulge myself in those wonderful stories, it really doesn't matter. A manga is a manga, right?

Now, seventeen years later from the first time I read my first manga-- eventhough I have read hundreds of titles--I still can't seem to get enough of it. There will be no day without manga or anime in my life. Sometimes, my parents have been trying to pry me off this so called 'hobby'. They haven't been sucessfull, so far. Glad to know there's no rehabilitation facility for this kind of addiction for sure :D. I think like I owe my friend who introduce me to the world of manga a lot...

I hope that on the years to come, I will still love manga and anime, with the feeling as strong and clear as on the day I brought a copy of Candy-Candy home.
