Rex Madison here. "Mad Rex" if you like (old nickname). I am...probably the most volatile writer you'll ever meet. I write for all four different kinds of fanfic: Fluff, Angst, Crack and, elsewhere, Smut. I flit back and forth wildly between not writing for weeks and pumping out 5000 words in a weekend. I also flit wildly between projects; if I tell you I'm working on a particular fic, it's probably about three fics away from being completed. Luckily I tend to finish even multi-chapter stories before I post them - but that's not a hard and fast rule, either. The only thing I'm really consistent about is that all my stories have happy endings. ...so far, heh heh.

I write King of Fighters exclusively, except for a couple crossovers that also include it. I love it for the characters more than the gameplay; Athena is my one-woman OTP, and I like quite a few of the other players too. I also love Street Fighter and Final Fantasy, this time for the gameplay as much as the characters. (CvS2 might be my favorite game of all time.) Other geeky stuff I like includes Dragon Quest, the Chrono series, Castlevania, Mega Man, Metroid, the Walking Dead comics and DC and Marvel in general. ...I doubt I'll ever write for any of 'em, though.

I've now written so many Athena stories there are different continuities for them. You can tell which ones are linked based on their cover art (if they have it). They also feature Athena at wildly different power levels, thanks partly to me not knowing what was canon at first. These are the different levels featured, along with which stories they appear in. ...this isn't strictly necessary, I'm just listing them for fun.
