Hey guys!

Kay here. If you didn't know my name is Kay, well, now you do.

If you've been following this story for a while, then you know my updates are sparse. My "schedule" is every three months I realize I didn't update for a while and rush through writing a new chapter before posting it without a second thought or read.

Yeah, not my proudest moments.

And I was about to do it again, but then I had a thought, and for once, I sat and waited until I came to this conclusion: I do not like what I've done with this story.

Three years ago I thought it'd be hilarious if Artemis had a twin brother named Apollo and decided to write a fanfic without planning ahead. So now I've ended up with a pretty bland character and an even blander storyline.

The thought I've been sitting on is to just start over. Just reset, take time to actually plan things through, and come back when everything's ready.

Character creation has ALWAYS been my weakest point. And that really shows with Apollo.

My biggest fear with writing fanfiction is making things out-of-character or out-of-place. This fear took over so much that I scared myself into sticking to Canon without taking any creative liberty throughout this story. And that I regret so much to this day.

These are the main aspects as to why I believe this story is pretty weak.

If you read through all that you must be thinking "So what now?"

Now, i'm rebooting "The Dawn Archer."

I'm not going to delete this story. I hate deleting stories. They're like old trinkets I can't part with.

But I can't continue it as it is, so I'm going to create the Dawn Archer reboot as a new story. When will it be made? I can't tell you.

I will tell you that the final update for this specific story will be me telling you I just posted the first chapter of the reboot.

Thank you so much for all the love and support I received. Honestly, I don't deserve it.

Apollo and I will be back as soon as possible :)
