07/21/2019- So, I've finally finished getting a small companion site set up with access to stuff I can't actually post here. Pictures, outlines, timelines, and little things like that which go along with my stories and the planning for them without revealing story spoilers (or, at least, not many of them). There isn't a lot there just yet, save for a couple of timelines, but it is definitely a start, and I would love it if you guys could check it out.

12/07/2018- I’ve been a member of this site since I was in eighth grade, and considering that I am now in my mid-twenties, that’s saying a lot. I have had a deep love for fanfiction that goes back almost as far as my love for writing, in general. I’ve wanted to get a novel published since I was in high school; it’s been my dream for a long time. The only issue, really, is completing the novel, first. I can’t publish something that hasn’t been written yet. Now, any reader that’s stuck with me long enough should be fully aware by now that I have procrastination issues, when it comes to writing. My updates are sporadic, at best, and almost nonexistent, at worst. I’m always getting new ideas, starting a new story before the last one is even close to finished. I have so many different stories in the works (even if I’ve taken most of them off the site, for a while) that getting anywhere with even one of those stories is a drawn-out process. The more I put on my plate (however willingly), the slower my updates come. And that’s not even considering real life; I only have enough spare time in my life for part-time writing, after all, even if I’d like it to be more.

The real kicker is that I’ve been so focused on fanfiction with what little time I have to write that I haven’t touched my novel in ages. I’ve effectively put my novel on the backburner for fanfiction. And since I don’t get paid for this, that can’t happen. I love fanfiction as much as the next person, but there has to be a line, somewhere, and I’m drawing mine here. So, until further notice, I’m putting fanfiction on the backburner, instead. That doesn’t mean I won’t write, or that I won’t update, but I’m only going to allow myself one day a week to put my novel aside and take a little time for fanfiction. What I said in my other notes still stand; it’s just that now, it’s going to take more time than my original plan called for to make it happen. Carpe Diem will still be my main fanfiction focus, of course, but if I’m genuinely in the mood for a different series, I might take some time here and there to work on something else. I’ll keep you guys updated, via my profile, as usual, so just check in from time to time or PM if you have any specific questions.

I'm deeply sorry if this bothers any of my readers, but I truly meant what I said about drawing the line.

12/02/2018- So, I have been thoroughly distracted by the upcoming holidays, so much so that I haven't been doing much writing lately, even on Carpe Diem. I have been looking over what's already there, getting details and facts straight and getting my story bible worked out so I can keep it that way, but on the whole, not much has been done, just yet. I just haven't had much inspiration for new content, lately, what with everything going on at this time of year. I'm sort of in a bit of a writing rut, so to speak, but I can promise that once I get through it all, you guys will definitely see some kind of an update. And, regarding my Naruto story, A Hiding to Nothing, I have decided what I'm going to do with it and where it's all going, and I've been working on an outline, of sorts, to keep the order straight on everything. So, that should speed things up a little, push come to shove.

10/21/2018- I deleted a bunch of the stories I haven't touched in a while, but don't worry. It's not permanent. I'm working through some stuff on my Naruto story (which will also be taken down in a few days), and then, within a few months or so, I'll repost that and begin working through stuff on all the other stories I took down. At least most of them will be reposted, once all this comes to pass, but it's still too early to promise that for all of them. Plot ideas could still change, here and there, once I get to working through them. In between all of this, I will also be working on my Fairy Tail story, Carpe Diem, which is still my priority, regardless of what I'm doing with the other stories. So, at any point in time, I'll only be working on two stories at once: Carpe Diem and whichever story I'm working through at the given moment. That should help speed things along, but even Carpe Diem will take a few weeks to update, as things stand, right now.

09/09/2018- Updates on my stories will probably take a couple more weeks to get through, as it stands, right now. I confess that, lately, I've been thoroughly distracted by watching tv and reading more fanfiction than I write, but I assure you all that I will pull through it soon enough and get back to work, the moment I can make myself put down the reading I've been so immersed in.

12/21/2017- I changed my user name from Like Stars in the Sky to Fantaspasia. It's actually a fusion of two different words: Fantasia and Aspasia, both with really interesting meanings. For fantasia, the meaning I chose to use here is 'a thing that is composed of a mixture of different forms or styles.' Aspasia is a Greek name, rather than just a word, but it means welcome/ invite, to sum it up simply.

I've been a member of this site since I was in eighth grade, and for me, that's a long time. Since then, my writing style has evolved quite a bit, and I've learned a lot of interesting things as I grew, things which, no doubt, have had an affect on me and my writing. I wanted my user name to reflect that, to show how all the little pieces I've picked up over the years have added up into an amazing fantasia, and how much I welcome that growth, even now. How much I want it to continue, want to keep growing and learning and picking up bits and pieces of life as I live it.

Because it makes me who I am, and I wouldn't change it for the world.
