Author has written 21 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Lost, Legend of Zelda, X-Men, Star Wars, Final Fantasy VIII, Sailor Moon, Kingdom Hearts, and Labyrinth. 4/18: HIATUS (writing, but original fic) Hi! Welcome! I write for several fandoms and several ships, but my main muse is Tifa from Final Fantasy 7. I have an account at AO3 as well under the same pen name. And I frequently reply to reviews. And since I know it’s already been done at least once, please ask if you want to translate my work and repost elsewhere. I’ll likely say yes and try to help if possible. On reviewing: It’s simple: if you want to keep writers at ffnet, let us know we and what we do matter to you. Cumulatively, I put days, sometimes weeks, into a single chapter. How long does it take to leave a review? Minutes, sometimes seconds. To me, it's basic courtesy to leave comments for a story you've enjoyed—like applauding after a performance you've just watched. Naturally, we writers can't force you to leave them, any more than you can force us writers to write faster, but a little consideration goes a long way on both ends. Many writers, myself included, use reviews as a source of inspiration. Getting reviews, saving reviews, rereading reviews—all three have revived me on innumerable occasions. Sometimes it also shows where demand is and helps us determine where to focus our time. Don't underestimate the impact you might have simply by leaving an author a comment! Don’t know where to start? How about: ”I liked this because _.” ”My favorite scene was when _.” (reason why optional) ”(Quote text/scene from story) This stood out to me because _.” To the readers who review every chapter? I LOVE YOU GUYS. And if any of you were looking for that mature Tifa/Jack Sparrow I wrote once, it’s at my AO3 account. |
