Greetings, Friends!

Presumably, you are here because you want to know more about me and my work.

Call me Balkoth. Conjure the image of a nerdy and fun-loving escapist. That's me! I'm a part-time social butterfly, part-time lover of all people and things, and part-time misanthrope. Variety keeps things interesting.

I have not posted anything in a long time. This is largely due to life and my experience writing my latest, longest, (and best) story to date: "Darkness Calls." I dislike not finishing projects once I start them, and I hate to leave readers hanging on a cliff-hanger for months at a time.

As a result, I've continued to write but haven't posted. I won't until I've made substantial progress with a project. My past works have focused on Teen Titans and featured 'ships' ranging from central canon to fringe pairings. I am currently writing a sequel to "Darkness Calls," so keep your eyes open for "Shadow Boxing." I can't wait to share it with you.

As an aside, I am glad that "Shadow Boxing" is a story I decided to diagram and write before posting. There are sections of this story that are extraordinarily difficult for me to write, both personally and technically. I would have hated to post the story piecemeal with weeks and months separating updates. In an effort to overcome writer's block, I've been working on a few smaller, supplemental projects. Just in case you're wondering where this fabled story of mine is hiding.
