Not a lot to tell you about myself really. I live in England, I'm an ordinary, married mum and before writing my first short The Kiss, I actually had not put pen to paper since my school years.

That was all to change one day, when I sat down to watch King Arthur. I wasn't expecting anything outstanding and if anyone had told me then, that at my age, I was to be moved so emotionally by a relatively unknown Danish fella(outside of Denmark, that is), playing the relatively small role of a scruffy, no-nonsense, hawk-lovin' Sarmatian knight, as to actually write a story, I would have died laughing! But I was and here I am!

So as you've guessed, I am neither writer nor historian, with no expertise in either, so I hope you will forgive my mistakes :) My stories are written simply from the heart, inspired by a certain enigmatic scout named Tristan, who has curled his long slender fingers around my imagination and just won't let go.

I am a lover of books, film, music and theatre.

My favourite actor above all else, is the amazing Mads Mikkelsen, whom I have now had the pleasure of meeting personally, on two occasions - he holds pride of place on my pedestal!

Among my most favourite reads(and those I read over and over!) are Charlotte Bronte's 'Jane Eyre'. Daphne Du Maurier's 'Frenchmans Creek' and 'Jamaica Inn', E.M.Hull's ' The Sheik, Nicholas Evan's 'The Horse Whisperer' Jane Austin's 'Pride and Prejudice' Margaret Mitchells 'Gone With The Wind' and Mary Webb's 'Precious Bane', George R.R. Martin's ASOIAF, ANYTHING by Elizabeth Chadwick that Lady can do know wrong!

Among others, I love Richard Armitage, Toby Stephens, Viggo Mortensen, Marlon Brando, Michael Fassbender, Vincent Cassel and Rudolph Valentino.

..and so does my love of music - I love all types from Audioslave, Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters, The Stones, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Damien Rice, El Presidente, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pre)thing, Kate Bush, The Tea Party, Hans Zimmer right through to Mozart - my music reflects my mood, I find!
