Wow! I love poetry and this is incredible! I think the more I read this the more I shall see but I have decided to comment on my very first thoughts and images.

For me it was of Tristan's passing, expected and long awaited. 'She' was life bidding him farewell and then death came to set him free.

This is an outstanding piece of work.

I had to think about this one for awhile before reviewing. Your poetry is quite provocative. I like to think this is Tristran's hawk pulling his spirit out of his body and replacing it with her own. And one day it will be time for the Tristran-spirit hawk to perform the same act with another. And the hawk lives forever with the spirit of the next friend she takes for herself, helping and being a companion to special people for all time.

I suspect each time it is read, a new meaning will present itself.
