Hi, I'm a middle-aged, middle-income American trying to squeak by in this world. I have a mortgage, four birds, three cats, two children, and one wife. The menagerie and I live about 30 minutes west of Washington, D.C..

I enjoy reading Harry Potter and Bridge to Terabithia fan fics and have a number of stories between both worlds. I first delved into fan fiction after reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Disgusted with the dark nature the series was taking I decided to try writing my own version of a Post-Hogwarts world in Harry Potter and the Story in the Runes. It was an interesting exercise and taught me a great deal about myself and my style. About half way through TSITR I put out a one-shot humor story titled Eight Questions for Hermione. When I completed the Runes story in late 2005, I wanted to try some other HPFF styles and wrote (then re-wrote) my second novel, Harry Potter and the Forgotten Solution. Since I was using the story as a sounding board for my theories about Horcruxes the plot suffered a bit and was not received as well as TSITR. Upon completion of TFS I launched directly into the sequel, The Greatest of These, a story about Harry finding he is not alone in his world.

With TGOT complete in March of 2007, I took a brief break from writing fan fics to work on a series of original fiction/fantasy stories. I continue to work on them part-time. I then wrote another Harry Potter one-shot, A Godfather's Duty, about the last few minutes of Sirius Black's life. I am currently working (very part-time) on two more Harry Potter fanfics, one a humorous history of a well known Wizarding family. The other is a short story titled Remember Me? It is a tale of love and loss and how we deal with our personal tragedies. That one is tough to write because of the emotions tied up in writing tragedy.

And speaking of tragedy... I am also writing a series of stories based on the Bridge to Terabithia movie titled, A Life Rescued. As with almost all BtT fanfics, these stories deal with the life Leslie and Jesse might have had together. I found the movie incredibly moving, but (almost) pointlessly tragic, so I created a small reality of my own. If you read my Terabithia story, please leave comments, good or bad.
