VIOLENCE IN BELARUS:

EUROPE ALARMED AS BELARUSIAN MINISTRY FALLS

The Belarusian Ministry was toppled yesterday in a sudden violent coup, the speed of which caught political observers off guard. Top Belarusian officials fled Minsk for the safety of Poland, followed by a substantial number of staff and other refugees. "The capital is in an uproar," one Belarusian official who wished to remain anonymous told the Prophet. "No one knows what's happening." Other officials plainly stated that they feared for their lives.

Little information has been gleaned regarding the rebellion, but it is clear that many individuals lost their lives in the brief fighting. No insurgent groups have taken credit for the coup, nor has the newly installed regime made any official statements.

Rumours are circulating that the instigators include several known former Death Eaters, including wanted murderer Anton Dolohov and an unidentified man who is believed to have served in a leadership capacity under You-Know-Who; he and Dolohov were last seen at Malfoy Manor just prior to its destruction.
