Some Personal Stuff (aka crap no one cares about)

I hail from the foreign, northern land of Canada, where the winters are cold but the coffee is good (Tim Hortons feck yeaah).

I'm on the fringe of adulthood, and I'd like to think of myself as being fairly mature, but every so often I will spout nonsense about 'over 9,000' and other overused memes -- a side-effect of the internet having eaten my brain. Oh, and I'm far too weak-willed for my own good. You know, the sort of person who'd say 'sorry' if you punched them in the face. Upholding Canadian stereotypes and all that, I guess.

The best word to describe my preferences in books, music, anything, would probably be 'eclectic'. There's no particular order to the chaos; I like what I like, and that's good enough for me. I suppose if there's one thing that's really consistent, it's my dislike for Japanese cartoon culture -- there're a grand total of maybe three animes I can actually sit through without wanting to set someone on fire, not including the staples of my childhood (Pokemon, Digimon and Monster Rancher are classics, dammit). I'm a total dork for Disney and general cartoon trivia, although I prefer oldschool Disney over WB when it comes right down to it. Oh, and I collect stuffed animals like a fiend -- not in a creepy furry way, mind you, but as souvenirs from different places I've been. I guarantee you, I can name an origin for almost every one of 'em.

English has always, always been my best subject in school. I like writing, although I'm far too lazy to embark on any personal endeavours. Hence the reliance on fanfiction. Even then, I don't write much, although if there's one fandom I'll always come back to, it's Warriors. It's sort of like slipping into an old sweater -- it's comfortable, familiar, and no matter how long it sits collecting dust in the back of the closet, it stills brings back good memories when you pull it out again.

All similes aside, I don't use this account for much anymore. I'd like to change that in the future, but, well...we'll see.
