Author has written 4 stories for Star Wars, Final Fantasy IX, Mass Effect, and Final Fantasy VII. Oh well, what to say? I'm an introverted college media and animation student who aspires to be a novelist but has a somewhat irritating habit of becoming far too obssessed with things she likes. I despise Mary Sues with every fiber of my being, and try to create balanced characters in my stories. If I don't then please for God's sake tell me! I'm blind to my own flaws after all. Criticise by all means, but do so constructively. Flames are a pointless waste of my time. If you have something to say, try and make a decent effort to convey it using the actual language of English, not a random slew of letters joined to form some incomprehensible mess that I then have to slog through only to find it was pointless, as the message itself was gibberish that could be improved upon by my six-month-old cousin. I'm agnostic, eclectic, sarcastic, slightly eccentric, some may say sociopathic, logical but illogical all at once and have a disturbing ability to form a far more intricate bond with a fictional character than with any real person in my life (except perhaps my parents). I'm also a roleplayer in my spare time (forum roleplays mostly). Things I HATE: I despise bad writing, Mary Sues, zero-grammar, poor characterization, reality TV shows, talent shows, shows that are obviously rigged, soap operas, bigots, hypocrites, flamers, homophobia, racism, sexism, ageism (any kind of descrimination really), giving up, spiders, moths, wasps, irrational hatred of other humans beings, and again there are others. Things I LOVE: Mordin, Garrus and Legion from ME2, my home, anime/manga, videogames, reading, writing, badminton, swimming, music, the violin, achieving something difficult, people who make sense, a good long debate, dragons, myth and magic, scorpions (and more)... One-shots: Grains in a sandstorm: A Mass Effect one-shot dealing with the aftermath of Virmire, but focusing as much on kirrahe as Shepard. Primarily a freindship/comrades-in-arms piece. Shadow of a Smile: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: A rather lengthy one-shot detailing my view of the Ravager's crew and their thoughts on Nihilus. Waltzing Damnation: Final Fantasy 9: Mid-length single chapter about Black Waltz Two after the battle against the heroes. Ideas for new fics: Now that I'm back (sort of) I have a few new ideas. Primarily a series of little ME2 ficlets. I love the ME2 crew so much, and there's so much potential for writing about them. IMPORTANT! I never stop writing mid-story unless I say I am going to on this site. My stories are ongoing. Please bear in mind I'm pretty busy with... stuff. Thanks for your patience. Extra stuff... Thoughts on yaoi/shounen-ai and yuri/shoujo-ai: Honestly? I don't care. Whatever floats your boat. I see all these people complaining about yaoi, and okay maybe there's more of it than there is actually fiction about straight couples (yet bizarrely homosexuals are still ridiculed). Y'know what? It isn't going to leap out of the screen and claw your eyes out, and you're under no obligation to read it. I have found several pairings of both yaoi and yuri that I support, as well as hetero-pairings. You want a fanfiction about Star Wars that doesn't involve Anakin confessing his love to Obi-Wan at the end? Think he should stick to women? Fine! Write one yourself! But for the love of Goblin Kings stop going on about it! All it does is make things worse, because then the yaoi fans get all defensive and start biting back about the 'lack of good female characters' and suddenly there's war! I really don't mind yaoi, or yuri for that matter. It's all the same to me. You like who you like, and if I see an attractive woman walking down the street and make a comment to that effect, I don't expect to be automatically branded a lesbian! She's pretty, I admit! That's no indication of homosexuality, it just means I'm not friggin' blind! As for me personally? Well, I have a few crushes. Some on real people. Some... Not so much. (Shh! It's a secret!) But I can't say any of them have been women. That would be a lie. But anyway, I'm rambling now, so in conclusion: girl-love: fine! Boy-love: Fine! Girl-Boy love: Fine! |
