Author has written 16 stories for Supernatural. Hi All! A few brief words about myself and my journey to Fanfiction… I’m a bit late to the SPN game. Well, not really. I tried to get in on the front end, gave it a good shot until Bloody Mary came along. Then had to spend the next half-decade or so scrubbing her image from my brain. I blame her for being late to the party. I next blame Netflix for allowing me to give it another try, blanket over my head at the scary parts (I still can’t look at Bloody Mary, the freaky-ass patients in Asylum, or the little girl in Provenance), and developing a rather unhealthy addiction. I powered through. And then I powered through again. And again…. And then I fell into the world of Fanfiction – don’t know how it happened, took a wrong turn somewhere. Lost some more time to the wonderful in-between stories and AU’s therein. But I had a few niggling thoughts that weren’t satisfied elsewhere and decided to give it a try on my own. And here we are – having a blast! So thanks to you readers, for your encouragement and for indulging me in this new venture, however ridiculous it may be. And to my semi-anonymous reviewer Mandy, who clings to the hope of romance in these stories: if I don’t do it here, it doesn’t mean I don’t love a good romance. I’m working on revising a book in the hopes of beginning a hunt of my own (for an agent, not for supernatural baddies). And guess what? It’s a romance – with healthy doses of humor, snark, and injury! Update as of March 9, 2018 To any of you readers who keep checking in and have not completely given up hope... Thank you for your continued interest! I really do hope to finish Hopalong Returns (and would absolutely continue with other stories if the Muse allows), but my focus has shifted dramatically over the past year or so. I am still writing, but now it's novels. I have my first novel coming (RomCom with "feels" and a touch of paranormal; and of course H/C because I just can't help myself) out mid-April. The hard copy is already up on Amazon; ebook will go live April 21. I'm trying to gauge interest in my FF readers. Do you strictly stay with FF and Dean H/C? Or if you find an author you like do you read their own works as well? I'd love to hear from you! Send me a PM. If it's a small group, I'll probably just give you links via PM; if it's a large number, I'll give stronger consideration to just posting the info here. Thanks, all! |
