About me:

I'm Nyaa-Neko (I might change my penname in the future - "Nyaa-Neko" is sort of...old...), I'm a fanfiction writer who likes to think she's improved over the six years since her "official" first fic (entitled "Teleporter" and which is not here - I'm too embarrassed).

I mainly write in the Pokemon area of this site now, although I used to write in other sections (such as Tokyo Mew Mew and Tenchi Muyo). Most of it is years old, though, and so I hope you don't judge my writing based on old little things like Graduation (the first story I posted here).

Oh - I'm technically an adult. I'm in college now...yeah, I'm old. :/

Currently I am working on two things:

Summer Heat, a story about a girl and her cyndaquil in the Johto region of the Pokemon world, which is my main project as of now, as I actually have the whole story outlined and know the basics of what has to happen in each chapter. I think there's pretty much only one (fairly minor) plot point I don't have somewhat planned...anyway, this is more of a character-based story than a plot-based one. Some people say it's funny, but I'm pretty bad with humor, so if it becomes "lame" or whatever, please tell me!

Poltergeist's, which takes place in the Sinnoh region of the Pokemon world and is my half of a pact with Digital-Skitty. (Her half of the pact is Pedestal.) We're going to get 15k words in each of our Sinnoh fics before our high school graduations this June, and we have to have a dancing shroomish somewhere in it by then. There were other aspects to the pact, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. This one has more "story" to it than Summer Heat, so if you want a plot with ghosts and journeys and saving loved ones, this is the one you want to read.

By the way, the timeline goes: Summer Heat --(7 years)-- Poltergeist's. They're in the same universe, although the main characters/settings aren't the same.

Oh - and if you read something, please leave a review. I'd love to know what you thought about what you read, no matter how long ago it was posted, no matter what your opinion was. Love it, hate it, feel neutral on it, I'd really love to know. :)

Progress:

Summer Heat + Poltergeist's: Okay, so I leave for school on September 5, and a couple weeks ago, one of my teachers suddenly decided to assign a bunch of summer homework. So between all that, I've put Summer Heat on the back burner (sorry! I keep doing that!) and won't (obviously) be finishing it by the end of September like I promised. I hope to get at least one more chapter of it written before I leave. Poltergeist's will update as much as I can until the 5th, and then I'll probably go on hiatus because I have NO idea what my schedule's going to be like.
